Oh, this is gonna be a gas!

Breadwinner

"We are back with Lizzie! Okay, tell me about this secret Jo kept until you were married."

"She really kept it till we were engaged but I didn't really understand until we were married."

"What was it."

"She has is- I don't know how to say this without someone taking it the wrong way- She is doing very well financially."

"I just looked this up but the internet says her net worth is 165 Million Dollars. Is that right?"

"No."

"Higher or lower?"

"Can I answer that?"

A faint "Yeah baby." could be heard

"We got approval from the wife what is it?"

"170."

"Holy Shit."

"Lizzie laughed "You should have heard what Chris said when he found out."

The couple was over at Chris and Morgan's house the kids were in bed and the adults were sitting around the fire on the patio enjoying a glass of wine. "How's work going Mo?" Jo asked

"It's going really well we are super close to releasing that new watch I was telling you about."

"Thats awesome! Do you want me to come to take some photos?"

"Can you?"

"For you old friend id do it free of charge."

"You know I can't do that."

Jo challenged her "You can and you will. I don't need it."

"Okay fine." Morgan surrendered

Chris wrapped his arm around Morgan saying "Never thought the wife would be the breadwinner right Jo?" Chris wasn't saying that in a passive-aggressive manner he was truly one of the most supportive husbands. He was profoundly proud of his wife and backed her in any way he could.

Lizzie nearly choked on her wine "I'm not the breadwinner."

"You get paid as much as I do for Marvel right?"

"A little less but around there."

"Jo, how much do you make? Like $40,000"

Jo moved to sit on the edge of her seat 'manspreading" while resting her forearms on her knees "Do you know what I do?"

"Your a set photographer right?"

Morgan grabbed his hand giving it a squeeze "Oh no honey."

"What? What's wrong?"

"Chris I am the head of photography for all of Marvel."

"What?! Since when?"

"Civil War."

"Really?"

"Yeah! They tried to get me to do it before then but I said no."

"Why would you say no?"

"I didn't need the money and I liked traveling with the cast."

"What was your net worth?"

"I think around 50-55"

"Thousand?"

"Million"

Chris' jaw went slack "How?"

"Ever heard of Compass gin?"

"That really nice whiskey you always have? Yeah."

"I own that."

There was a pause "You what?!"

"My grandfather founded Compass and when he passed he gave it to me."

"Thats worth 50 Million?"

"No. Only about 40 the rest is property, a bar in my small town and of course my photography."

"But you are saying it's gone up?"

"It has."

"What is it now?"

"168 Million."

Chris stood up walking around the fire before looking at Jo "Are you shitting me?"

"No."

"Your serious?"

"Yes." Jo nodded

"Thats more than Scarlett."

"Yes."

He sat down staying shocked "Holy shit." he turned to Lizzie "Did you know?"

"I'm her wife of course I know."

"But I didn't tell her till we were engaged."

"Why?"

"Money is a nasty thing. I acknowledge how much I have and I try to give as much as I can away."

"Is that you are always at the galas and charity events with Mo?"

"Yup."

Once Lizzie was done telling the story Morgan just laughed "I can see him!"

"I wish I had been filming because it was just priceless."

"How did you react when she told you?"

"I was shocked. She just let me sit there and digest it all. I think the first thing I said was 'wow' followed by 'thats crazy' and  'I'm marrying a rich rich chick.'" Lizzie started laughing "When we were on our honeymoon I-I don't remember why I was looking but I looked in my bank account forgetting we had joined accounts I freaked out thinking the bank really messed up and added too many zeros. I quickly called them and Jo walked in saying 'What? What happened?'

'The bank messed up my account the statement says there is $80,000,000 dollars in there."

Jo thought for a minute 'Thats right.'

'What?'

'Remember you married someone rich rich?'

Lizzie slowly pulled the phone from her ear saying slowly 'thats correct?'

'It's correct.'

'Holy shit.' Jo just laughed going behind Lizzie wrapping her arms around her.

'What is mine is yours.'

"That is crazy! Sadly it is time for a commercial we will return and talk about how these two balance working together and staying happy and healthy before answering some of your questions where we may have a special guest! Stay tuned! See you in a few!"
