Lizzie woke up to hear someone speaking Spanish to her left. She looked over to see Jo whispering on the phone standing up she must have just received the call. Lizzie thought. Her wife was exceptional with languages she spoke several languages fluently and could babble a few something that came in handy. The moment coming to mind however was Ace Comic-Con in Seattle, June of 2018

Lizzie woke up in Jo's arms her limbs stretching in the unfamiliar sheets. It took her brain a minute to realize they were in a hotel in Seattle. Today was a big day it was Ace Comic-Con. She stood looking out the window to see a surprisingly blue sky that mid-June day. She looked down at her hand to see the wedding band that sat on her finger. Over a year later and she still got butterflies every time she saw it. Today was the couple's first public outing of this magnitude since they were married. Lizzie looked back to see Jo smiling at her. "What?"
"Nothing I'm just excited for today."
"Are you now?" Lizzie asked walking back to the bed
Jo nodded smiling "Oh yeah. I get to be arm candy all day."
Lizzie smiled "So you are happy you aren't working this one?"
Jo normally worked comic cons that Marvel went to either as a member of the Marvel publication team that got people what they needed when they needed it or helped them travel from location to location. She would take pictures for marvel or even the Comic-Con depending on what she was brought in for. Today was different. As a semi-wedding gift to Jo and Lizzie Jo had complete access and wasn't expected to work. Jo was excited to just be there and fulfill the role of supportive wife something she normally has to multi-task over. They went about their morning getting ready before there was a knock on their door. Jo went and opened it to see John standing there "My man big John! How you doing?" He was their bodyguard they used for events like this
"I'm doing well. Are you and the Mrs. ready?"
"Lizzie walked out sunglasses perched on her head a bag over her shoulder "Let's go."
When they arrived Jo climbed out of the car first taking Lizzies hand. John walked in front while Jo stayed back so Lizzie was pulling her. Jo liked to stay behind to add an extra layer of protection. As they walked John moved people to the left and right. Lizzie whispered to John "It's okay. We have time."
"I'm just trying to keep you safe Mrs. Olsen."
"I married a pitbull I'm more than safe."
"Very well."
He moved to he was a few paces behind them letting them walked more relaxed through the conference center. A little girl caught Jo's eyes she was dressed in a little Scarlett Which outfit. Jo gave Lizzies hand a squeeze gently pointing to the girl. Lizzie said "Aww."
The girl locked eyes with them instantly smiling brightly. Jo pulled Lizzies hand as they walked towards the girl. Jo squatted down with a bright smile on her face. Jo saw the cochlear implant instantly and looked up to the mother signing ASL? Jo smiled she signed I'm Jo. Do you know who this is?
The little girl nodded Wanda Maximoff The Scarlett Witch."
Yes!
Lizzie leaned down saying "Hello."
"Enunciate your words, babe. She can read lips."
Lizzie and Jo spoke to her for several minutes leading her all around Comic-Con. As Jo and the little girl spoke Lizzie talked with the girls Mom "Hi I'm Amanda, Hannah's mom."
