Jarnette Olsen POV

I was wary of Jo when she first came along. I'll never forget the day Lizzie echoed her name...

Lizzie was called into Marvel to do a quick scene and she promised me she would come to tell me all about it. So here I was sitting in my living room waiting on the knock that would announce my daughter's arrival.

The knock never came.

For the simple fact that she just walked through the door. She walked over with this cheshire cat smile on her face "I take it went well."

"It went really well!"

"What are you not telling me...?"

"Elizabeth." I was not impressed by her trying to avoid my inquiry. So I pushed "Is it a boy?..." The look she gave me told me all I needed "A woman?"

She smiled a smile I had seen on very rare occasions "What's her name?"

"I am so excited!"

"Tell me about her!"

"Oh, my gosh Mom! Uhm... okay... she holds herself like she is in the company of royalty. She speaks with this-this wisdom like she's lived a hundred lives. Like one of the great explores that has been to the moon and back."

I just smiled as I listened to her talk "You really like her don't you?"

She smiled brightly, "I really, really do."

"Than I can't wait for...

The day I meet her...

I sat at the low-lit table waiting on the arrival of my daughter and her girlfriend. I looked to my left to see them approaching. They walked side by side a content smile on their face. I stood up wrapping my daughter in a hug before moving to Jo.  I gave her a hug to which she returned unsurely. As we hugged the whispered "You raised a beautiful daughter."
