A/N: So sorry it took me so long to post. My account froze and I had no way of communicating to let you guys know what's going on. It's still frozen on my laptop I'm on my phone right now and hoping to have the issue fixed soon.

While the two were in South Carolina they decided to go down to the Hamilton Family Ranch for a few days and decompress before returning to the busy LA world of Emmys and new work. Lizzie was sitting on the large deep leather couch eyes closed when Jo came up "Come on."

"No." Lizzies eyes were still closed

"I'm naked."

Lizzies eyes snapped open before she let out a defeated huff "You lied,"

"And you're horny. Come on."

"What's the git up for?" Jo was in jeans, boots, and button-down her long blonde hair braided under a cowgirl hat.

"Time to move cattle."

Lizzie lifted her brow "You want me to help move cattle?"

"What? No. No. Mamaw, Blake, Mathew, and I. I thought you'd like to hop in the gator (pronounced gater) and watch. You haven't seen me sort cattle in a few years."

"I've never seen you."

Jo furrowed her brow "What? That can't be true. We have been together for years."

Lizzie laughed "I know we have been together for years. In fact, I know it's been seven years. Every time you have come down to move I've had something going on."

"Well, today is your lucky day darling."

Lizzie tilted her head wanting a kiss "I love it when you talk country to me."

Jo smiled, making her accent heavier "Is that right?"

"Mhmm." Lizzie hummed into the kiss.

Jo helped Lizzie up as they walked hand in hand downstairs. Jo led her wife to the horse barn walking up to a beautiful chestnut horse "This is Jarvis."

"No." Lizzie laughed

"Yes."

"Why?"

"He's my best help."

"He's yours?"

"Now, now. Lizzie, don't let her fool you. She owns him but I care for him." Mamaw came up beside the two.

"She is right and I am eternally grateful."

Jo walked away to finish tacking up the horse while Lizzie walked around the barn. She came across a photo.

Mamaw came beside her "She had a gift

Mamaw came beside her "She had a gift."

"What is she doing?"

"Barrel racing. One of the fastest sports in rodeo. 16 seconds to gallop around three metal barrels steering a thousand-pound animal.

"Why did she stop?"

"You know your wife. Life never seems to move fast enough. She was a champion at all the local rodeos but more than that she was an incredible ATV racer."

"Like the gators?"

"Like the 4-wheelers. She just stopped when she went to college, then after her grandpa died she just couldn't return."

Lizzie turned to look at her wife "We have been together seven years and I learn something new about her every day." she rested her hand on her ever-growing belly

"How are my great-grandbabies?"

"Brother and sister are wrestling right now."

"May I?" Lizzie nodded as Mamaw put her hand on Lizzies bump "I can't feel them."

"Neither can Jo." Lizzie laughed, "She hates it."

"I'm sure she does."

Jo walked up chaps now on "We ready?"

"We are."

Lizzie walked over where Jarvis was petting him she whispered "Take care of her."

Lizzie went to the gator as the group mounted their horses. Jo yelled "We are going to take you to the place to watch but we are going to move further down the hill. Keep the walkie in the glove compartment open to channel six to hear. Lizzie followed behind the horses.

Once they were at a hill Lizzie turned off the gator walking over to Jo. She put her hand on Jo's leg "Do good cowgirl."

"Don't I always?"

"Hmm." Lizzie hummed unimpressed Jo leaned down kissing Lizzie taking off her cowboy hat to shield the rest of the group from the kiss.

"See you soon darling."

Lizzie stepped back as Jo and the group walked down the hill. When they got to the bottom they galloped off towards the back left corner of what Lizzie could see. She listened as her wife took charge

"Take the head, drive them on. Ahh, go on you heifer."

Lizzie was mesmerized as her wife rode through the field. She was a natural. Lizzie watched a cow break out of a herd before she could think about it. Jo was charging across the pasture with a rope swinging overhead as she roped the cow, the horse sitting back on its haunches. As they moved the cows towards Lizzie, Lizzie watched closer the way her wife's hips moved in the saddle as she moved diligently to get the large herd where they needed to go. There would be moments of steady walking followed by some cantering as a cow would break loose. Her wife was a sight to be seen atop those rolling hills.

Lizzie looked down where her hands cradled her bump "Thats your Mama sweet babies." She sniffled cursing the hormones at how that made her cry at the mere sight of her love. "She is strong, courageous, fiercely loyal, sweet, goofy, adventurous, broken, genuine, smart. She is everything good in this world. Just like you two. She thinks I'm the best but really I think it's her. You two can always go to her. It won't hurt my feelings. I love talking to her more than anything. She's got this wisdom babies that I can't wait for you to hear. She loves you two more than life itself, we both do. She wasn't loved like you two will be while she was growing up. I think that's why she's so worried about being a Mama but us three already know she's the best Mama. I know because you two seem to settle whenever she's near. She had that effect on me too. Oh, my babies how we love you so."
