Oh, this is gonna be a gas!

YOU GOT MY DAUGHTER PREGNANT!

Jo and Lizzie woke up bright and early on the day of the fourth both wishing they could sleep longer they begrudgingly pulled themselves out of bed. As Lizzie was making coffee and tea in the kitchen Jo came bouncing down the stairs in her Fourth of July outfit that consisted of some jean shorts and an oversized American flag tee while Lizzie just wore a white top and some black shorts. "Feeling patriotic are we?" Jo laughed

"We both know we will be in the water more than we won't so my suit is quite patriotic. Jo came behind Lizzie kissing the spine of her neck wrapping her arms around her "How are my three loves this morning?"

Lizzie turned around with a smile on her face she wrapped her arms around Jo's neck "We are perfect."

Jo leaned down kissing Lizzies lips "Good."

"We have to get going, people will start arriving soon."

"Did your Dad confirm he's coming?"

"Yes. Everyone will be here except the twins."

"We are flying out tomorrow to see them right?"

"Them and Scarlett."

"Perfect!"

It had been a while since the two had just spent time in the kitchen together and cooked together. At one point Jo had stopped what she was doing to watch the way Lizzies hip swayed to the gentle rhythm of Otis Redding. Jo came up behind Lizzie resting her hands heavily on Lizzies hips swaying along with her. Jo was excited to see the way pregnancy changed her wife. Even in such a short time, Jo had begun to notice the smallest of changes in her wife. As they swayed Lizzie looked up at her with a sweet smile. Jo smiled back kissing her. Before long there was a knock on the door Lizzie walked over opening it to see her Mom looking back at her "Mom! Come in!

"Mama Olsen!" Jo said excitingly from the kitchen.

"Josephine Hamilton Olsen, what the hell happened to your face?!"

Jo and Lizzie both cringed forgetting they hadn't seen a member of their family since what happened "She uhm-"

"Well, I-"

"See what had happened was-"

"I got into a bar fight."

Jarnette slapped Jo "Why would you do such a thing?!"

"Mom it wasn't her fault."

"Well, who's fault was it?"

"An old friend."

"Some friend."

"Okay! Mom why don't you come help me set up the backyard while Jo preps everything for the grill and griddle."

A few minutes later there was a knock on the door. Jo went to open it coming face to face with Lily and Trent. After she explained the busted lip she had to explain it again to Courtney and Jake. The last two to arrive were David and McKenzie. Jo answered the door before calling out behind her for Lizzie. Lizzie walked in at the tail end of Jo once again explaining her face. Lizzie graced her hand along Jo's back before giving her Dad and Step-Mom a hug. "Hey guys!" Lizzie stepped back wrapping her arms around Jo's waist feeling her settle back into her arms.

"Where is everyone?"

"Everyone is in the backyard."

They all walked into the backyard just as they did Trent launched a pool ball at Lizzie. Jo quickly stuck out her hand catching the ball mear centimeters away from her face. Trent paled backing out of the pool "No. No. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Jo!" He pleaded as Jo just walked calmly and slowly towards him before pushing him into the pool then bonking him on the head with the ball as he came up.
