Lizzie walked into the house to find it empty "Jo? Baby?"
She walked over to the pantry pulling ut the peanut butter brownie cookies that they kept on hand
she pulled out her phone quickly dialing her wife "What up lover?" Jo said
"Hey, honey, where are you?"
"In the garage under the Bronco,"
"I know something else you could be under if you get inside."
Lizzie heard a resounding thump followed by a "Shit!" She watches Jo stumble across the backyard before bursting through the back door her hand up against her forehead. Lizzie laughed at her wife "Oh honey, come here." Jo walks over to her wife. Lizzie opens her arms and Jo just walks over to her not moving her arms she just gently leaned against her wife letting her chin rest on Lizzie's shoulder "Oh baby," Lizzie coos "Did my poor baby hit her head?" Jo nods her chin not leaving Lizzies shoulder "Let me have a look," Jo pulled away as Lizzie puts her hands on the bottom left and top right of Jos head tilting it so she can get a good look at the gash on her wife's forehead. "I don't think you need stitches."
Lizzie turns taking hold of Jo's hand leading her into the kitchen. Jo sits on the island while Lizzie goes to the sink to get a wet towel to dab the blood away. She turns back around looking into her wife's blue doe eyes she gently daps away the blood. Jo lets out a small hiss. Lizzie turns her back again to look for the first aid kit they have stashed under the sink. She almost smiles at herself Big bad Jo, narrowly escaped death 6 times but a little bump on the head does her in. Thats my girl. When she turned back Jo had one of the cookies up to her open mouth/ Lizzie looks between her wife and the empty container. "Is that the last one?"
Jos eyes soften as she slowly says "Maybee"
"Josephine," Lizzie warned
Jo jumped down from the island the cookie between her teeth. Curse her agile wife and her 7-month bump! Jo was just about to eat it "Don't. You. Dare." Lizzie said in a warning tone through gritted teeth but it was too late Jo had already plopped the cookie in her mouth.
As soon as she did Lizzie's eyes started watering and the tears began flowing "Why would you do that?" she asked in the smallest voice, she quickly walked past her wife and into the master before Jo heard the door slam "Oh fuck, fuck, fuck fuck." Jo said slapping her forehead "Shit that hurt." Fix it Jo come on fix it! How are you going to fix it? I can't leave and get flowers. Ah, damn it. Way to be a good wife Jo, You made the pregnant lad cry. Oh, my ass is so on the couch. Jo scrambled trying to think of a way to fix this.
Finally, Jo walked to the master door. she could hear sniffling. She gently pushed it open "Baby?"
"Go away, Josephine!"
"Baby I am so sorry," Jo tried,
"No your not," Lizzie rebuttal like a child.
Joo walked over to the bed seeing Lizzie's tear-stained face against the pillow. Jo squatted down "What behind your back?" Lizzie asked curiously
"I ate the last one..." she showed Lizzie what was in her hand "...because I picked more up at the store today."
Lizzie turned her face away "Doesn't help." Jo quickly scurried around laying on the bed beside Lizzie inches away "What do I have to do to make this okay?"
"Promise me you won't eat my cookies anymore,"
Jo nodded "I promise!"
"Raise your right hand," Lizzie said
"Babe-" Jo started but quickly raised it when she saw the tears forming "I Josephine Lillian Hamilton Olsen promise to never eat any more of your peanut butter brownie cookies."
As soon as she was done Lizzie sat up taking a long sigh, Jo sat up patiently waiting for her fate "Okay," Lizzie said in a normal voice.
Jo sat stunned "What the hell was all that?"
"Thats called acting," Lizzie said sarcastically. She reached out patting Jo's cheek firmly "Teach you not to take a pregnant woman's cookies."
As Lizzie walked out of the room Jo sat there stunned "I am so whipped,"
"Yup!" Lizzie called out down the hall,
Be ready for some shorter chapters. The twins are coming soon!
