2015 (8:15pm)

Jo stood behind the camera watching as the scene took place. When the director yelled cut Jo walked onto the set. They were just doing reshoots and so Jo was no longer needed on set sadly however Lizzie was still expected to stay and work. Jo walked up to Lizzie as soon as Lizzie saw her a wide smile plastered across her face "Well hey stranger." Lizzie laughed

"Hey, baby. I'm heading out."

Lizzie shook her head "Okay."

Jo leaned in kissing her wife "Call me with your plans for tonight okay?"

"Okay. I love you."

"I love you too." Jo smiled kissing her wife one last time before walking away.

2100 (9:00pm)

Jo rolled into the rental at promptly 2100 a surprisingly early time for her. She walked inside and was instantly greeted by Red who was very happy to see her and be let out. As Jo went to let Red out Red looked longingly at the door. Jo said to the dog "It's just me right now baby girl. Mom will be home later tonight."

That seemed to make the dog happy as she trotted outside to do her business. When the two came back inside Jo first gave Jo her dinner before going to make her own. Simple pasta and chicken. She made enough for her and Lizzie knowing even if Lizzie didn't show till later the leftovers would be enjoyed.

2300 (11:00pm)

After Jo had eaten dinner she went into her and Lizzies shared office space where she began working on editing the photos and short clips she had filmed that day as well as answering any emails she may have had. She was surprised when she looked over at the clock to see that she had worked from nine to eleven. She wasn't surprised by Lizzies still absence she knew it was going to be a later shoot.

0000 (12:00am)

Another hour had passed but Jo was unable to go to sleep so she opted to clean. With them, each working long ridiculous hours sometimes finding time to clean was hard but Jo wanted to do something nice for her wife and have the house clean for her return.

0100 (1:00am)

After an hour of cleaning, she decided to give Lizzie a call just to see what time she thinks she may be home. Much to Jo's surprise, she doesn't answer. Jo rolls it off and begins to do some Yoga trying to text and call her wife after 45 minutes.

0200 (2:00am)

It is now 2 am and Jo can be seen pacing the living room her phone clutched in her hand. Red's head moves back and forth as she follows Jo's movements. Jo was rarely one to worry when it came to stuff like this but after her car accident stuff like this really messes with her head.

0300 (3:00am)

After an hour of pacing and trying to reach Lizzie, she gives Paul a call.

"Hello."

"Hey, it's Jo."

"Jo, what are doing up at this ungodly hour?"

"Are you with Lizzie?"

"No. Should I be?"

"You aren't on set?"

"No, we finished shooting two hours ago."

"Both you and Lizzie finished shooting?"

"Yes. Now, what's going on?"

"S=I asked her to call me if she was spending the night there or coming home. I have been trying to reach her for hours and I can't get her."

Paul said calmly "I'm sure she just fell asleep in her trailer. If you want me to I can drive over there and check."

"No Paul but thank you."

"Anytime. Give me a call if you change your mind, Jo."

"I will Paul thank you!"

0400 (4:00am)

Jo was sitting on the couch her body facing the door her phone clenched in her hand. Her eyes were heavy and looked like she hadn't slept in days. Finally at around 0435 in the morning the door opened. Jo sat up staring intently at the door as Lizzie made her way in. Lizzie jumped when she looked up to see Jo staring back at her "Hey. What are you doing still up?"

Jo was fuming, exhausted, and relieved all of those emotions were not a good combination causing the words she spoke to have a bite to them that Lizzie wasn't used to hearing "What am I doing up? Uhm, let me think Elizabeth. Oh yeah, that's right I have been pacing the floor for hours thinking you were dead!"

Lizzie was taken aback "Baby I'm sorry I was just so exhausted and my phone died."

"Sorry, Lizzie. Do you think sorry is going to cover this? I asked you to do one thing Elizabeth one thing. Call me with your plans and you couldn't do that." Lizzie knew her wife was mad she had every right to be mad but there was something else behind those blue orns that Lizzie couldn't quite pinpoint. "God Lizzie I am so mad at you. I have been up for hour te- ter-" Jo couldn't finish that sentence her words being broken by tears. Lizzie instantly dropped the things in her hand rushing to Jo. Lizzie pulled her wife up and close.

Lizzie kissed the side of Jo's head tears in her eyes "I am so sorry baby. I know that sounds empty but it's not okay. It won't happen again I promise. Just don't cry baby please don't cry."

Jo pulled back saying "I am disappointed that you didn't call me..." there it was disappointment a dagger straight to Lizzie's heart. "...and normally I wouldn't get so upset about stuff like this but the accident." Oh it clicked for Lizzie how could she be so stupid. "I was stuck in that car for hours in so much pain. I didn't think they were ever going to get me out. I was so scared Lizzie and now every time we separate and you drive I get that same type of fear deep in my stomach. I couldn't breathe in that car. The longer it took for them to get me out the more I felt like I couldn't breathe. Lizzie, I thought I was going to die. Then tonight you didn't call and I felt like I couldn't breathe and all I could think about was you in that accident and how scared I was."

They both had tears streaking down their faces. Lizzie reached up cupping Jo's face wiping her tears. "Baby I can not tell you how profoundly sorry I am. O know we need to talk about this I know we do but come on baby let's go to bed." Lizzie said softly

Jo knew her wife better than she knew herself she could see just how badly Lizzie was kicking herself and didn't want to add to it she just let herself be led into the master where both Lizzie and her laid down the moment Lizzie was safe in her arms the tears began again. Lizzie knew she was crying so Lizzie ever so gently flipped in Jo's arms so they were facing one another. She did her best to whisper all kinds of sweet things to Jo to get her tears to subside things like "I love you, I'm right here, You are home, You are my home." Lizzie was crushed she knew she had really messed up and was probably going to be in the dog house for the next few days but she really didn't mind knowing full well she should have found a way to let Jo know she was safe. The two drifted off that night nearly sleeping through all of their alarms.

A/N: Definitely not my best chapter but I felt like we have seen Jo kinda do things that got her in "trouble" but we haven't really seen the roles reversed. I'm very excited for the next chapter it's just that super cute fluff I'm good at writing it may take me a little longer since I have to do some research.

Side Note: The Queen herself Ms. Elizabeth Chase Olsen is back in LA!
