Duel League Episode 2: Battle for Dark Magician (Pattou v. Magnus)

Jack: And we are back here after a quick break and we will have a quick announcement shortly about...well it will be special. But for now, we got our next slated match here between two duelists who agreed to the stipulation of something of a proving ground

Joey: Proving ground is not enough to explain why these two are now competing. Pattou seems to want an identity change, Magnus looks to be an up and comer who may be finding himself to be dueling to gain some momentum

Kaiba: Anyway we go to our announcer.

Announcer: The following duel shall begin, wherein if Magnus is able to defeat Pattou, Pattou will surrender his Dark Magician Cards to Magnus.

Announcer: First, Pattou!

Kaiba: Ah yes, the one who may feel confident in keeping the Dark Magicians with him

Joey: I don't know about that Kaiba. Maybe if Magnus can find a way to beat him, then he gets stronger with Yug's cards.

Jack: We shall see but Pattou's deck seems to have remained with the old ways. No extra deck.

Announcer: Next, Magnus!

Kaiba: Ah yes, the newcomer that somehow impressed this one.

Joey: I see some of Yug in him at least

Jack: But let's not forget how he was able to beat back Mahad. And speaking of, our guest on commentary at this time, Mahad.

Mahad: So you see me as worth ignoring?

Joey: No, but you don't see yourself as someone worth talking about

Mahad: You shut up!

Announcer: Let the duel begin!

Magnus: I set three ccards facedown and summon Defender, the Magical Knight (LIGHT/4*/Spellcaster/ATK1600/DEF2000). I activate its effect, when this card is Normal Summoned, I can place 1 Spell Counter on it.
