Carly: Ladies and gentlemen, our guest at this time, Cloud.

Cloud shows up and walks with a bravado.

Carly: Cloud, you seem to be upbeat, hearing about the ranking duels to start on the next edition. How are you feeling?

Cloud: How am I feeling? What a STUPID question from a STUPID journalist. Of course I have felt injustice since losing early on in the Duel League Championship tournament. Now granted I have a chance to show that I am a worthy contender despite my place in the rankings. I can beat anyone AND I MEAN ANYONE to be one step closer to contention.

Frost then walks in.

Frost: Anyone? 

Cloud: Yeah, you heard me. ANYONE.

Frost: You claim that you deserve a spot at the top just because you ALSO wield the Sacred Beasts apart from those Cloudians. 

Cloud: Yeah, so what? They're powerful.

Frost: Well, I agree with you about the part on losing early AND wanting to show that my ranking goes beyond my skill. So...

Cloud: So what, you got mopped by the evventual champion. So you're nothing more than a glorified welcoming mat for guys like me to prove our spots.

Frost: There we go. In come the arrogance. Guess what, as early as now, you're already losing the duel. But if you want to prove me wrong. Meet me out there. I've been given clearance for us to duel. So, prove it. Unless your head is stuck up the ass of those cloudian monsters. - walks away -

Cloud was enraged and began to walk away from Carly.

Commentary area

Kaiba: Well at least we get more matches before the main event but right now, this announcement has riled up the duelists and we will see more of this to come. So onto our next duel shall we?

Jack: As those two are about to enter the duel field, well both of them were handed defeat early on in the tournament

Joey: Well let's get it on!

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, for our next duel, first competitor, Frost! 

Kaiba: The Ice Barrier man...

Joey: A supposed favorite in the tournament but lost to the eventual champion, Irvine.

Jack: Now is his time to prove that he was indeed a favorite in the tournament

Announcer: And his opponent, Cloud!

Kaiba: Ah yes, this one.

Joey: Another loudmouth who thinks he is so great just because he also wields Sacred Beasts

Jack: He may prove it's not the cards but the duelists who ause their own downfalls

Announcer: Let the duel begin!
