Kaiba: Right now, we are back and we will continue with the Tag Force Tournament as advertised. Shall we?

Announcer: The following is a Tag Force Tournament 1st round match!

Announcer: First, the team of  Cobalt (Rank 14; 2-3) and Crimson (Rank 22; 0-5)

Jack: Yes, this is a big night for Cobalt and Crimson, as they need to dial it back after an unfortunate showing from Duel League Genesis. 

Kaiba: Conspicuously absent but for sure keeping tabs is Vade, who is competing later on against AK in the main event. 

Cobalt and Crimson take their positions as they await their opponents

Announcer: And their opponents

Announcer: They are the team of Magnus (Rank 4; 4-1) and Ryu (Rank 17; 2-3)

Joey: Well let's take a notice on this, of them 4 there, Magnus has a winning record. I am placing my bets on Magnus and Ryu to advance

Kaiba: Wheeler, coming from you who never was able to wield or even successfully defeat one of the God Cards, that is quite bold and stupid. Then again, you are you.

Joey: Hey!

Jack: Kaiba has a point, the God Cards are on one side, it's only a matter however of getting them out in time to strike fear in the hearts of the other team as Obelisk had been brought out fast. Slifer has yet to come out.

Kaiba: Today may be that day if Magnus or Ryu aren't fast enough.

Announcer: Let the duel begin!

Cobalt: I got my 5 cards. I set a monster and 2 cards face down to end my turn

Jack: Luckily until Cobalt has his turn again, no one can attack.

Magnus: I draw. 

Main Phase 1
Magnus: I activate a Continuous Spell Card, Endymion's Lab. First, this card will become Magical Citadel of Endymion while in the Spell and Trap Card Zone. Next, form here on out, each time a Spell Card is Activated, I can place 1 Spell Counter on this card when that Spell resolves. Then I activate another Spell Card, Terraforming, which has me add 1 Spell Card from my Deck to my hand. I fish out, Magical City of Endymion!

Magnus: Endymion's Lab's effect activates. 1 Spell Counter is added
