Kazuki Takahashi Memorial Show (Duel League Ep. 11) - Resurgence (Cloud v Viper)

A cold opening starts the broadcast despite the events of the Big Dueling Event from hours prior. The commentary team remained silent as the screens in the arena displayed a picture of the late Kazuki Takahashi inside of a Yu-Gi-Oh Card like portrait. In place of the ATK and DEF points is the year of his birth until the year of his death.

Kaiba breaks the silence as lead commentator as he spoke.

Kaiba: Kazuki-sama, we thank you for giving us life. For the gift of a game where rich or poor, have or have-not, can enjoy and transcend beyond boundaries.

Jack: A game that has touched the lives of all who have played it. A game that gave life and stories that continue on for years.

Joey: We are truly grateful for this gift and life and we pledge that from here on out, we go on with honor and in tribute to your memory for giving us these good memories.

Kaiba: Now, may we ask those in attendance and watching at home to rise as we offer a moment of silence for the loss of Kazuki Takahashi.

All in attendance rose as a graphic showed on the middle of the card that said

In Memory

Kazuki Takahashi

Everyone stood in silence and Kaiba broke the silence

Kaiba: Thank you. Now tonight we will all do our best to remember Kazuki-sama and promise to deliver the best of Duel League as we can. Now we begin the show

Joey: Well, this is the Kazuki Takahashi Memorial Show and we have quite the duels up after the events of Duel League Genesis

Jack: That is right Joey, we have the card after the last match up here

Kaiba: Vade dips down after suffering his first loss. Irvine suffering the same fate after he failed to defend his Duel League championship. Magnus and Walace now high up after winning last night.

Jack: Same can be said of Pat, Odin, and Wolfe after securing key victories.

Joey: My man Ryu steps up and goes high up!

Kaiba: Doesn't matter, AK went up too and that comprises the top 12 while the bottom 12 are those with more losses than wins. Not much change down the bottom 3.

Jack: Speaking of bottom 3, 2 of our duels tonight will see who stays down bottom or will gain wins. So far we have on our card
