Kaiba: Up next is a feud that's been driven deeper and gone more bitter since Viper had to bring up his loss record.

Jack: Well, spoken like a sore loser himself but we will see how it goes

Joey: This will be quite the duel

Kaiba: - facepalms - onto the announcer

Announcer: Duel League continues with this next duel

Announcer: First, Fenix! (Rank 20; Record 0-3)

Joey: An underdog and wanting to finally earn a win on his own

Jack: He must win this to finally get one foot out of the cellar!

Kaiba: Doubt it. 

Announcer: And his opponent, Viper! (Rank 24; Record: 0-3)

Kaiba: A fellow cellar dweller with a big mouth. Kinda like you Wheeler.

Joey: Oh shut it Kaiba!

Jack: Alright before it becomes all about the two of you. He sorely needs the win too. He hasn't won alone or even in a tag duel setting.

Kaiba: Maybe here he finds victory

Announcer: Let the duel begin!

Kaiba: Also due to both having identical records, the turn order was determined by coin toss with Fenix winning so he goes first

Turn 1 (Fenix 8000; Viper 8000)
Fenix's Main Phase 1

Fenix: I summon Destiny HERO - Decider (DARK/4*/Warrior/Effect/ATK1600/DEF1000) and  end my turn

Turn 2 (Fenix 8000; Viper 8000)
Viper draws a card and heads to Main Phase 1

Viper: I set 4 cards facedown and activate a Spell Card, Swords of Revealing Light!

Kaiba: Defensive start

Viper: You cannot attack me for 3 turns and this stays on until the 3rd End Phase of your turn after this card is activated. I end my turn

Turn 3 (Fenix 8000; Viper 8000)
Fenix draws a card and heads to Main Phase 1

Fenix: You never should have underestimated me. I set a card and activate a Spell Card, Terraforming. I can add 1 Field Spell Card from the Deck to my hand. I select Clock Tower Prison and activate it.

Joey: This will get interesting

Fenix: I end my turn

Viper draws a card 

Fenix: Oh yeah, Clock Tower Prison's effect activates during your standby phase. This gains 1 Clock Counter. Once The card reaches 4 counters, I will be unable to take Battle Damage.

Viper: You're just lucky. I end my turn

Fenix: I end my turn
