Background: Tanaka finds out about Kuroo and Tsukishima's relationship. He tells Yamamoto his plan to catch them in the act. Yamamoto has other ideas.
"You did what!?" -Tanaka
"Well it went like this..." -Yamamoto

Yamamoto and Kuroo were at the bus stop alone. Kenma was already home since Kuroo and Yamamoto were on clean up.
Yamamoto couldn't take it anymore so he blurted out and interrupted Kuroo:
"Do you like the blond first year from Karasuno?!" -Yamamoto
The whole mood shifted. Kuroo glared at him hard.
Kuroo turned to him and grabbed him by the collar, pulling him close so he could whisper in his ear.

Yamamoto did not say what Kuroo told him. Just that the fear alone made him cry a little.
The bus pulled up and they were off, not talking.
"Damn. You didn't have to straight up ask him like that!" -Tanaka
"I'm sorry bro." -Yamamoto
"Now I gotta ask Tsukishima if they are dating. Wish me luck."
"Yeah, good luck. Bye."
Tanaka needed that luck, but it failed him.
He was never seen again.
Until monday, with a large bruise, and a profound fear of being alone with Tsukishima.
