"Hey, you know how Iwa-chan and I are going to get married when we grow up?"
The young girl nodded.
"Well, some people, like grandma, don't like that. They think it's...unnatural and weird. These people are afraid of weird and unnatural things so they want to get rid of them. So, we are just going to keep this secret between Iwa-chan, your mom and dad, my mom and dad, and me a secret."
"Will there be a day when you can share your secret?"
Oikawa felt himself tearing up. She was so naïve like himself once. That was gone now.
"Maybe... but not today. And I don't know when that day will be. But, we need to keep this our secret. Ok? Can you do that?"
The girl nodded profusely.
"Good, now give Uncle Tooru a hug."
She hugged his chest and he wrapped his arms around her, enveloping her. Oh, how young and naive she was.
