Chapter 89: Going to the corner where I first saw you

Issa was itching to sock the newcomer on the head but was prevented when Auntie Jacinta approached them with Sebastian in tow. "Let's go to the back of the church so that we won't be feasted upon by reporters." As soon as they got behind the wall, Jacinta handed Sebastian to his Auntie Issa who was the nearest and embraced the familiar stranger tight. Issa looked around and found the three men wiping their eyes. "What is happening? Can somebody explain what was going on?" Both Corrine and Amelie shrugged their shoulders, also at a loss.

They had their answer when they spoke.

"Raymond..."

"Mamá.."

~~~~~~~
Roberto signaled to one of their security detail and whispered, pointing to someone in the crowd of reporters being pushed back outside the church as he handled the guests inside. He raised his hand to get their attention after the church doors were securely closed. "I apologize for the chaos that just happened." His spine stiffened, pulling him to his full height. "If you would just care to follow our Butler Walter to the garden area of the church, food and the drinks will be served immediately. Thank you and I hope you enjoy your meal."
"Hey! Get your hands off me!" Alexa struggled as two men in suits lifted her by her arms. "Where are you taking me?"
"Alexa, What brings you here?"
She quit glaring at the two uniformed men as her eyes beheld who spoke.
"Uncle Roberto! I'm here for the wedding. Remember the guy I wanted you to meet? Well, he is one of Ms. Mendoza's closest friend."
~~~~~~~
"Mamá, I missed you so much but right now we need to find him."

Jacinta wiped her tears. "Go. You know where to find us."

With his mother's blessing, Ray looked at the men who stood in
for him for his brother.

The three nodded. "Let's get going."

"Hey, I want to come with you." Issa said, handing back Sebastian to Jacinta.

Corrine stepped forward. "Me too."

"Count me in as well." Amelie added.

Ray shook his head. "Stay. In case either one of them returns."

"Girls, I'm sure they will have more luck finding them both." Jacinta said, eyeing their long gowns.

Jacinta turned when she heard footsteps coming closer to where they stood.

"Where are the boys?"

"They're all out looking for him." Jacinta didn't know whether to laugh or cry at their situation. One son returned while the other went away.

Sebastian wiped his grandmother's tears with the back of his hands. "Thank you baby, and remind me not to kill your father when he gets back."

"Oh my god.."

There goes that phrase again.

"Sebastian! Is that you?" Alexa stepped forward to confirm.

Jacinta turned around to protect Sebastian from the woman who came closer. "How do you know my grandson's name?" She asked almost too fiercely.
