A/N: The story will be written from my point of view. I will also switch to Dipper's or Mabel's vantage point whenever I deem it necessary.
Magnus' POV:
'Trees, buses, roads. Wait why am I on the ground! I thought the flight was supposed to land by tomorrow,' I thought to myself, as I looked at my surroundings in a state of utter befuddlement and stupefaction. I was sitting next to what I presumed were two preteen kids, a boy and a girl. I was also carrying a suitcase that was filled to the brim with my belongings.
"Come on, Magnus!" I look up and see a female aged around...if I were to make an educated guess, I'd say roughly 12. She was donning a flamboyant sweater, tugging at my left hand, dragging me indiscriminately into a bus without my consent before I could even protest. 'Who is this stranger?' The wording on the side of the bus caught my eye, it read 'Speedy Beaver'.
The name sounded uncannily familiar, like something I had seen in a show. I just couldn't remember which one. I took a seat right in front of the two kids I had just seen earlier. 'How did the girl know my name?' I ruminated deeply before I got interrupted by the sound of a boy talking to me.
"Magnus, are you okay? You seem a little more on edge than usual," the boy gazes at me in concern, scrutinising my pensive features. 'Why is he calling me Magnus? My name is, wait, I can't remember, but even so, I don't think my name is Magnus!'
"How do you know my name and where are we going?"
"Um, Magnus don't you remember, we are on our way to Gravity Falls," the rather sweaty preteen boy answered, his navy-blue vest and orange shirt resonating with some part of me, it was all so familiar, as if...then all the pieces clicked and glued themselves together magically.
'Wait, Gravity Falls? I thought that was a fictional place or TV show created by Alex Hirsch. Could I be in the world of Gravity Falls? And how does he know my name, I don't even know who he is.'
My train of thought was interrupted by the ebullient girl behind me, her voice laced with concern when she spoke to her...twin brother? I was just guessing at this point because honestly speaking, I had no idea what their relationship was and certainly what my relationship with them was. "Do you think he forgot everything again, Dipper?"
'Okay, if his name is Dipper. Then there is a high probability that I am in the world of Gravity Falls,' I conclude internally after an interminable amount of rationalising. 'Is this even real? Is this a dream?' I pinch myself for good measure, the sensation of pain snaking up my body telling me that I was indeed conscious and fully awake. I give my full and undivided attention to Dipper as he speaks.
"Hopefully not, Mabel. 'This certainly confirms my theory.' Anyways, he does look a bit nervous and anxious so maybe we can help him settle in because that's what triplets do."
'Wait, triplet?! Am I really their triplet? That means I must be 12 now.'
I look down at myself and noticed that my physical appearance had totally transformed from the lanky 18-year-old boy I previously remembered myself to be, I was much shorter than usual with tousled, warm chocolate-brown hair, my skin taking on a paler complexion as well.
'I remembered watching the show when I was young and it has since become my favourite show. I can't wait to go on all the adventures with the twins, well my triplets now.'
I decide to allay Dipper and Mabel's fears. "Don't worry guys, I'm okay. Just a little tired." I yawn, seeing their expressions visibly relax.
I then make a decision that I'm sure my entire body appreciated deeply and was tremendously grateful to me for. I let exhaustion consume me, winning its battle against my ever-so-able body.
Time Skip
We alight from the bus, with Mabel skipping happily off the steps of the bus and Dipper falling off of the bus in a rather embarrassing manner. I descend the steps last and lent him a hand, which he promptly took, smiling at me sheepishly from the floor. I return the smile and together, we traverse the path which would lead to our home for the summer, the Mystery Shack.
