Ford's POV:

Magnus had just entered Bill's mind and right now, the two people in this cage with me were wailing and howling in rage. Casey just kept on crying, not believing what she had just seen.

"Kids!" Stanley yelled. "I've failed them! I was supposed to protect them and now they're both dead! Let me out!" Stanley pounded our sturdy light blue cage indignantly. "I'm going to kill Magnus!"

"Calm down, this was all part of the plan. Magnus and I discussed this beforehand. He had to pretend to kill Dipper and Mabel to get Bill to trust him. Both of them will wake up in around," I counted down the time, already doing the necessary calculations earlier. "Now."

I was filled with tremendous relief to see the twins stirring, both of them rising up groggily from where they were.'His plan, it really worked.'

"Now," I took out the magical flashlight Magnus handed to me on the first day of the Weirdpocalypse, finally seeing how it came in handy now. I direct it at our cage, turning the flashlight on and shining its magical light at it, making the walls of our cell enlarge. All three of us bolt out of the cage and I decide to take the lead, giving Stanley and Casey commands before I went off to do what I was supposed to do.

"Casey, Stanley, head over to the twins. Check and see if they're alright, they should be since the bullets I made were harmless," I order, taking out the memory gun and setting the name on it to Magnus Pines.

"And what are you going to do?" Stan questioned, raising his eyebrows.

"I'm going to erase Magnus' memory and along with it, Bill," I replied grimly.

"No! Wait! Bill's not in his mind," Casey pointed out hurriedly. "Don't do it, please."

"He tricked Bill, Casey. He created an illusion to trick Bill. He teleported himself back to his mind with Bill while maintaining the same surroundings of Bill's mindscape."

"No, don't do it!" she yelled, tears beginning to prick the corner of her eyes.

"Stanley, hold her back," I order, aiming the memory gun at Magnus, seeing that he was glowing almost as brightly as a star, knowing that he was drawing too much energy to hold the illusion in place.

I squint my eyes, ignoring the screaming around me and fire the memory gun at Magnus for what seemed like an eternity until it stopped firing of its own volition. I drop it to the floor, the clang it made resonating around the Fearamid, my head drooping in despair and grief.

Suddenly, glaring and blinding purple light hit my vision, making me shut my eyes. I knew it was coming from Magnus and his necklace, the energy he had absorbed earlier being released immediately, meaning only one thing, the Chosen One had fallen. I feel myself opening my eyes again, finding myself reappearing in a sequestered and peaceful area of the forest with Stanley, Dipper, Mabel and Casey. Lying in front of us, was the body of the Chosen One, motionless and lying as still as a sleeping mountain. I kneel before him, looking down and choosing to remain silent before him respectfully. Stanley does the same, taking off his Fez hat and kneeling on one knee beside me.

"Ο Επιλεγμένος για τους υπόλοιπους," I mutter to myself. Greek for The One Chosen For The Rest, those were the words that were inscribed on his necklace and also etched in my mind. An appropriate motto for a person of his calibre.

"Magnus?" Casey called, rushing over to him and feeling his pulse but judging by her reaction, he was devoid of a heartbeat.

Dipper and Mabel also rush over to him, checking him and shaking him desperately to see if they could wake him up, but they ultimately fail in their attempts. Dipper even performed CPR on him but eventually failed. Once they realised he was truly gone, tears began welling up in their eyes and they let it all out with Casey, crying a river of tears over his lifeless body and hugging his now insentient body tightly.
