The group agreed unanimously that Dipper and I were to approach the shape-shifter while Soos, Wendy and Mabel were to stand by the valve of the pipe, ready to knock the shape-shifter out with water.

While the shape-shifter was busy calling for Dipper, Dipper and I took the opportunity to attract the monster's attention by walking towards the room he was situated in.

"Oh boy, Dipper. That book sure is full of some great monsters!" I shouted with faked enthusiasm.

"There you are! Ooh, and a new one. I recognise your necklace too." The shape-shifter looked at my necklace threateningly. 'Why does everyone seem to care about my necklace? And does that mean he's seen it before in the journals or did Ford mention it?'

"Should I be one... or the other? How about both!?" The monster turns into a six-legged creature, its top half resembling Dipper's face and its bottom half resembling mine.

We shriek in terror and run back to where the pipe was located as fast as possible, with the shape-shifter following us closely behind.

Upon entering the room with the pipe, Dipper doesn't hesitate to give the three people standing next to the pipe instructions. "Guys, he's coming! He's coming! NOW, NOW, NOW, NOW!!"

Wendy, Mabel and Soos turn the valve of the pipe at his behest, however, water from the pipe just refuses to flow out. I also join in, trying my hardest to turn the valve.

"It's not working, dude!" Soos informed Dipper desperately. The shape-shifter ultimately manages to catch up to us and extends its long tongue which latches onto Dipper's journal.

"HEY, LET GO!" Dipper tries to pull his journal back. Wendy jumped to his aid and assisted him in pulling the journal. In spite of this, the shapeshifter eventually manages to pull the journal from Dipper's grasp. Unfortunately, Wendy also gets pulled along with the journal.

"Wendy!" Dipper cried out to Wendy who was preparing to strike the monster with her axe when water gushed out from the pipe like a river, knocking the shape-shifter and Wendy back. The four of us were also caught in the torrent and were now utterly drenched from head to toe. After the water levels had subsided, we gasped for air. 'Thank goodness my glasses is waterproof.'

I looked at the other three just to make sure that they were all fine. Dipper was the first to get up from the floor and picking up the axe that Wendy had dropped earlier, he runs down the tunnel we were situated in, trying to find his close friend and crush. "WENDY!"

I pick myself up from the floor and follow Dipper, who spots Wendy lying down on the floor in an unconscious state.

"Wendy! No, no, no-no-no! Can you hear me? Oh, please be okay, please be okay!" Dipper runs over to her and kneeling down next to her, he shakes her, attempting to wake her up. His attempts proved futile as Wendy still remained unconscious, not responding to Dipper.

"Oh no, oh no! This is all my fault! If I had told you when we were in the closet we wouldn't be in this mess. But I was too scared and now you could be hurt or worse, and I never even got to tell you I'm, like-In love with you, Wendy!" Dipper confessed and began to tear up, burying his face in his hands.

I kneeled down beside him and tapped him on the shoulder to draw his attention. "Dipper, you may want to look behind you." Dipper did as he was told and saw the real Wendy standing behind him with his journal in hand.

"Huh-wha-Wendy?! W-wait, then who's...?" Dipper's voice trailed off.

The fake Wendy Dipper had been crying over arose and after growling at Dipper momentarily, she charged at the real Wendy and attacked her, striving to get the journal the real Wendy was holding. They engage in a fight, both exchanging blow for blow.
