"Magnus?" I hear someone's soft voice calling out to me.

My eyelids still remained shut and I certainly did not feel like moving out of my bed. "Hmmm," I mumbled.

"Wake up," I heard Casey whisper into my ear.

"No," I shook my head uncooperatively. "I feel tired, could you just let me sleep?"

"No, now come on Magnus," she grabbed my hand and attempted to lift me up.

I grumbled and shook her hand off me. "Why can't you let me sleep?"

"Because the Duck-tective finale is today and I want you to accompany me when I'm watching it with Mabel, Stan and Grenda."

"No, I don't think I will. I just feel too lazy today," I turned away from her and pretended to snore.

"Magnus," she said in a tone that I knew she wasn't joking. "I won't take no as an answer."

"Fine," I got up reluctantly and put on my glasses, staring at the blonde girl that sat before me.

"Why do you even want me to accompany you? It's not like the show is going to change or anything because I'm there or anything good is going to happen."

"Because I want to spend more time with you before you leave," she whispered, her stern demeanour from earlier changing into a lugubrious one. "Forever."

"I totally forgot about that," I whispered, brushing her hair behind her ear and hugging her. "I'll still remember you when I return to my universe, don't worry. I'm going to go brush my teeth now, okay? I'll join you soon, I promise." I give her a quick kiss on the forehead and climb down the ladder slowly, letting what she mentioned earlier sink in. 'I'm going to have to leave everything I love in this universe behind when all of this is over.'

After all that was done, I made my way downstairs to find Mabel, Grenda, Stan and Casey assembled just at the mouth of the staircase, all of them getting chatty and jittery over the show's finale. 'Just like how I got excited about the Gravity Falls' second season finale.'

Casey beamed as she watched me descend the staircase. "There you are, Magnus! Dressed up in your usual outfit I see."

Mabel clapped and cheered. "Oh Magnus! You're joining us as well?"

"Yeah, I am I guess since I don't really have anything else to do."

Before she was able to respond, the alarm she set rings and chimes, as if it was signalling my arrival downstairs. "Viewing positions, everyone!" Mabel exclaimed.

"I don't have a viewing position," I whispered to Casey.

"Don't worry, I'll sit on your lap so you can take my place."

"Has anyone told you that you are one of the most thoughtful people on this planet?" I asked and held her hand affectionately.

"You're the first."

"And I'm glad to be the first," I kiss her on the nose and walked with her to the living room. Unsurprisingly, the two male geniuses and Einsteins of the house were there, playing Dungeons, Dungeons and More Dungeons as if there were no tomorrow as attested to by the multitude of graph paper that was littered and strewn all over the floor haphazardly.

The entire gang except me gasped at this, most of them looking infuriated, and by most I mean Stan, Mabel and Grenda.

"Ah! Graph paper!" Grenda stomped on the first graph paper that reached her vision.

"Dipper, could you maybe move this to another room?" Mabel asked in an upset tone and frowned at Dipper.

Ford declines Mabel's request on Dipper's behalf. "No dice! We ran out of room in the basement and we're going for a world record! Now, dice! 32, yes! 7,000 points damage!"
