My heart felt as if it was lanced and punctured a thousand times over. "Wait, where's Coschurch?"

"It's the town nearby Gravity Falls, where my dad works," she informed me sadly.

"Uh, well-uh, I-" I was at a loss for words for what must have been the first time in my life. I didn't know how or what to reply to her or how to reassure her because even I couldn't reassure myself and I could not and would not be able to stop the tears that came.

"I'm so sorry for crying," I sniffled in between sobs and tears that blurred my vision. "I didn't anticipate that this would happen, and I should have a long time ago."

"Me too," she nodded sadly and silently begin to release tears herself, her tears trickling and pelting down on my pants like a torrential downpour.

"I'm sorry, for everything that I've done in the past that may have offended you or hurt you in the past in any way."

"You don't have to apologise for anything. I should be apologising for not helping you sometimes and teasing you almost all the time."

"No, you don't, because we've done that to each other countless times. Our relationship would be different and dull if we didn't." I chuckle slightly and rein in the tears that would have continued flowing, taking a few deep breaths to regain my composure. "Hey, look at me." I tilt her head upwards so that our eyes locked. "If today is our last day together, we shall live it to the fullest. We shouldn't be crying, we should remain happy and enjoy this day together, okay?"

She sniffled, wiping away the tears that had pooled in her eyes. "Okay, Magnus."

"Good, now, I have a bit of a proposition, to cheer us up, perhaps," I said, drumming my finger on the table.

"Go on," she gestured for me to continue.

"Would you like to go on a date? I mean, we really haven't really been on one, unless you count the meet-up at Greasy's Diner a date, but yeah, we haven't been on a date in a while."

"I'd love to, but where would we go on a date?" Casey questioned.

"Mystery Mountain," I answered. "With the other two over there," I whisper and point at Dipper and Candy sitting in a booth alone, the Korean girl's face taking on a beetroot-red complexion as she was talking to Dipper.

"Wait, they were a couple? I didn't know that."

"Well, Candy will ask Dipper out on a date and Dipper, obviously being Dipper, will accept it reluctantly."

She nodded slowly. "I guess that could work."

"Lovely. Look, there it is!" I point to our final destination which was cropping up in the distance, the towering mountains surrounded and obnubilated by swirls of mist.

Soon afterwards, the RV we were in comes to a standstill. Stan comes out of the RV and signals for us to do so as well. I take Casey's hand, placing a gentle kiss on it and striding out of the RV with her hand in hand.

"Alright, road dogs! I got five bucks for whoever can tip the big blue ox! Go, go, go!" Stan waves Mabel and Grenda forward quickly.

"Hey, what's up with the mopey mug, kid?" Stan questioned after seeing Dipper remaining behind, a gloomy look plastered on his face. "Or kids?" Stan added after noticing Casey and me exiting the RV last, presumably seeing our puffy eyelids and blotchy face.

"Just a little dust getting into our eyes," I fibbed and strolled ahead with Casey, admiring the stunning scenery that lay ahead of us.

"Looks nice, don't you think?" I ask and point to the Mummy Town USA tourist attraction. "Want to go there? I want to see what's inside."
