When I wake up,  I feel my shirt stuck to my body like superglue from all the sweat yesterday. Honestly, I was sure that the sheer amount of sweat I had was enough to fill a 5-gallon tank. My eyelids were still clinging onto one another when I hear the twin's exchange on my bed.

"Is he still alive? Or do you think he's dead?" I overhear Mabel asking, her voice trembling with fear.

Dipper allayed Mabel's fears at once. "No, no. Look at his chest, it's still rising up and down."

"Phew, I thought he was dead."

"No, don't wake him up!" Dipper whisper-shouts at Mabel. I'm assuming she's going to do something silly.

"I'll do what I want, boop," I feel someone touch my nose.

I groaned in frustration as I still felt a little tired from what happened yesterday. My eyes fluttered open and I addressed her, "Mabel, you have to stop doing this. And why are you both on my bed?"

Dipper touched his fingers together nervously, "Well, uhh, you see, Casey approached us yesterday, looking very sad and distressed. She told us about what happened between you and her."

I sigh and shake my head, "It was for the best. I was only putting her life in danger and I don't want to see her get hurt or potentially even die."

"Magnus, why are you so overprotective over Casey? You know that she can take care of herself right?" Mabel scans my eyes with her's to try to sound me out.

I maintain my stoic disposition and reply, "You don't understand Mabel. I'm responsible for her wellbeing, if she gets injured or dies, I would have to live knowing that it was my fault that she was hurt or died. This applies to you two as well, if any one of you gets hurt or injured on my watch, I wouldn't forgive myself."

"Aww, I get it now. You have feelings for her! But that doesn't mean you have to blame yourself for what happened to her yesterday. That was all Bill and you had nothing to do with it."

"I had something to do with it. If I didn't ask her to go to the theatre, Bill wouldn't have done that to her," I replied irritatedly.

Dipper scolds me immediately afterwards. "Stop being so hard on yourself! You gotta stop blaming yourself for everything bad that happens to us. Point is, things like these happen and when it does, you can't just stop time or rewind time to prevent these things from happening, you can only do your best to fix it, which was what you did."

I nod my head slowly in understanding, "Yeah, I guess you're right. I really needed that, thanks Dipper." I look at him gratefully.

Dipper smiles. "No problem, Magnus. You like you really needed that and by the way, how are you feeling?"

"Well, I guess I feel way better. A little weak from using the necklace but other than that, I feel perfectly fine."

"Good, now go take a shower. You smell terrible, must be from all that sweat." Dipper points at my shirt and my hair that was drooping down from sweat.

"Surely it can't be that bad?" I asked innocently and looked at Mabel.

Mabel avoided my gaze guiltily. "Yeah, you do smell pretty bad Magnus. You should really get a shower."

"Fine, I will," I rolled my eyes and after climbing down my ladder slowly, I plodded to the bathroom.

After all that was done, I walked down the staircase to the gift shop. While I was doing that, I perceived a woman running out of the gift shop in fright, shrieking in fear and barging into several customers as she did.
