Time Skip
I change my outfit into something more presentable. I wear a pair of long pants and change my shirt into a button-up one instead of the graphics t-shirts I usually wear.
I look over at Dipper, who had also changed up his outfit and had opted for a pair of sunglasses over the pine tree hat he usually wore.
"Not going to lie, you look handsome and I don't mean it romantically if you think that was what I was trying to imply."
"Thanks, you don't look bad yourself."
"Thanks, by the way, Dipper, I've been meaning to ask, but could I borrow your hat? I think it would look nice on me."
"Umm, fine," Dipper said sceptically and hands me his hat reluctantly. "Wait a minute, is my hat part of some kind of plan you're hiding from us again?"
"Thanks, Dipper and no, I can assure you, I do not have any plans. I promise to give you your hat back once I'm done." I place it atop my head and inspect myself in the mirror, marvelling at my reflection.
Dipper cleared his throat noisily, "Okay, we're ready, shall we go?"
"How are we supposed to go if we don't have the golf cart?"
"Right. Forgot Casey took it."
"Yup," I pop the 'p'.
We walked back down to the gift shop and came to a halt.
"I guess we'll just have to wait for her. What do you want to do now?"
"I don't know, maybe y-you could show me a bit of your power?" Dipper asked me hopefully.
I contemplated this for a while before agreeing. "Fine, what do you want me to do?"
"Can you read my mind?" Dipper asked.
"Ummm, I don't think I can, I don't really know how to do that yet."
"At least give it a try," Dipper insisted.
"Hmmm, okay." I focused on the Axolotl again and summoned a bit of his energy, feeling more energised and revitalised. 'Praise the Axolotl. Axolotl, if you can hear me, please allow me to read Dipper's mind.'
I then concentrate on Dipper's mind and after a little while, nothing came to my mind until I heard a few words that I was sure wasn't spoken by Dipper himself as I did not see his mind moving.
I force myself to concentrate more and could finally make out a little bit of what he was thinking.
"You're thinking of the number of days it's been since you've played with your handheld?" I asked him weirdly.
"Wow, took you long enough," Dipper smiled.
I silently thank the Axolotl and stopped summoning his energy, feeling drained of energy after I had stopped drawing power from him.
I started panting and almost fell to the ground. I was thankfully prevented from doing so by Dipper, who supported me.
"You okay?" Dipper asked me anxiously.
I nod and seconds later, Casey, carrying a suitcase, bursts through the door, wearing an elegant and stylish sea-green dress.
"You look incredible," I make my way to Casey slowly, using the counter of the gift shop as support and taking some time to still myself. "I would hug you or kiss you right now if I could."
Casey instantly put down her suitcase and supported me. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, don't worry about it. Let's go."
