Good afternoon.
I know you guys are probably sick of these but hi.
I have been having some severe writer's block, but I just ate some cookie dough and am feeling better.
I am currently working on another couple chapters, as well as more chapters for "a court of unshed tears," but I thought while you wait for another chapter I might as well post something sooooooo......
If you hate theories then you probably won't enjoy this so just warning...
Anyway, I don't know how many people out there have read "Crescent city." It is another book written by SJM. It was pretty good, I definitely cried a couple of times and I am super excited for the second book to come out in a couple months.
Basically in that book there are fae people, humans, and many other mythical characters... like mermaids.
(The love of my life, Tharion.)
But they are basically all ruled by Angels.
And I finished up the third acotar book "a court of wings and ruin," and remembered that one time when Amren came out of the cauldron in her true form.
A fricken Angel!
And both "Acotar" and "Crescent City" talk a lot about other worlds and the multiverse and shit.
So I was thinking, maybe Amren used to be an Angel in the Crescent City world, before she ended up in the Acotar world.
Idk, these are just my shower thoughts so they are a little far fetched but anything is possible.
One last thing.
I am currently reading ACOSF and wow. This book is my favorite book of the series (so far). Mostly because I love cassian. But I just read chapter fifty today and I didn't think I was going to cry. Cause I was reading the part when Nesta was crying and talking about her dad and I was fine then Cassian pulled out the fricken "there is nothing broken to be fixed," and I started sobbing my eyes out. Then one chapter later Gwyn says "your story is worth telling," I was unwell.
Anyway Nesta has such a beautiful story and Cassian displays such a good example of how to stand by and be supportive of someone who is going through something.
I love psychology and just helping people heal and stuff and when Nesta had her breakdown Cassian came up behind her and said "I'm here."
Now you may be like yeah that was cute but is it that important?
YES! Yes it is, and you know why, because when people have breakdowns your first instinct is to say "it's ok" or "you're fine." But you are actually supposed to say "you're safe," and "I am here," and my man Cass did that.
I love the healing and friendships in this book and of course the smut.
I mean it's pretty prominent, I can't not acknowledge it.
Also you know what I was thinking about today...
If you could snuggle and take a nap with one Acotar character, who would it be?
Immediately I thought of Cassian, because he objectively gives the best hugs but also I thought Feyre would be a great choice. Then my mind really wandered and I thought, maybe Tarquin.
Yeah, I don't know.
I would also like more of him in the upcoming books.
He just seems like a snuggly guy.
Anyway thank you all so much for reading and putting up with my bullshit. I love you all very much, and I hope you all have a good snuggle tonight (even if it is with a pillow). Biiiiiii
