Hey guys I'm sorry it took me so long again. I have been doing stupid ACT test prep so I can get a good score and go to stupid college. I know I am lucky I can take this class to improve my score, but five hours a day plus homework is not how I planned to spend my summer. Anyway there are no Crescent city spoilers yet, but in the next few chapters there probably will be. If you don't plan on reading the crescent city series or already have then cool beans. If you haven't and plan to, there are going to be major spoilers just warning you. Anyway thank you so much for reading even though I suck at posting. I love you all so much! Btw sorry about the typos...

Azriel was not fully on board with this plan.
"It's safe," Gwyn promised as they looked at the coast. Delicate waves were cascading back and forth, begging to be swam in. Azriel could see the excitement in Gwyn's eyes.
Though he loved how it brightened her features, she should not be excited. She should be afraid. Fear controls impulses. If they were going to find narben in this array of water then they needed whatever control they could muster.
Azriel nodded and attached the silver cuff around his bicep. The power poked at his skin, trying to force its way in.
"Now all you have to do is will yourself to change." she sat down, letting her feet dangle off the rock they were on into the clear ocean water.
She started removing her pants and turned to him, grinning.
"What are you doing?" Gwyn questioned as Azriel shamelessly stared at her.
"Enjoying the show," he winked.
"Pig." she pressed her lips together and he knew she was hiding a smile.
He sat down next to her, pressing a kiss to her bare shoulder.
Once they had removed most of their clothing Gwyn started to shift.
Her legs had joined together and scales slowly replaced what was smooth skin. Her hands turned webbed and her eyes seemed impossibly bluer.
"Your turn." she smiled sliding her long copper hair in front of her breasts he had been dying to taste.
He tried to blink away his desires and shift.
It was fairly easy with all the power Tamlin and Gwyn imbued the silver band with. Though he was not fully ready to see the scaly black tail attached to his legs in contrast to Gwyn's light blue one. The lack of weight on his back had also been a shock he wasn't prepared for.
"You did it!" Gwyn rewarded him with a kiss to his cheek and he might have blushed at the simple affection.
He looked down into the water as fear inched up his spine. "Since this is off the west coast, any manner of creatures of Hyburn's making could be in here.'' He tightened the sheath holding the made dagger on Gwyn's waist.
She nodded with steady determination, and pushed herself off the rock and into the water.

Gwyn had almost forgotten the languid, lush feel of water. She tried not to let herself marvel in it for too long.
They had a job to do. They would find narben. Today.
They had been traveling down into the depths where the warm sun kissed water turned frigid. The made knife was giving them a one way ticket to hypothermia it seemed. Though their new bodies could handle water, they still had their limits.

A court of water and worlds
FanfictionTakes place after a court of silver flames. This is my take on the next book in the Acotar series. This is basically Gwyn and Az's story. I have never wrote a fanfic before so this could be bad, but I just kept seeing peoples theories for the next...
