Be careful with him

AN/ THERE'S NO SMUT! I repeat there is NO smut!!

I pull him into a random store and then start looking at things.

“What are we doing in here?” Calum asks me, I lead him further away from the entrance and then turn to him smiling after going on my phone.

“What would Luke think of this color for my hair?” I ask Calum, he looks at it shocked and then at me.

“I think he’d love it, it would also match his eyes a bit. Actually it might look really hot on you.” Calum says.

“I’m thinking this with like black bits or roots.” I tell him.

“Black roots, definitely.” Calum says.

“Sweet, ow and now the next store.” I tell him, I pull him out of this store and into the next.

“What do you want in here?” Calum asks me.

“Nothing, it’s a store a bit further that I really need to be in, I’m making sure Luke doesn’t know.” I tell him with a shrug. After a while I pull Calum to the store I actually wanted to go to.

“Ok give me your hand.” I tell Calum as we walk into a jewelry store. I entwine my fingers with his but he pulls away.

“The fuck are you doing?” Calum asks me.

“Testing if your hands are more his size stupid, now give me your hand back!” I tell him, he gives me his hand with a smile.

“Almost.” I tell him.

“What are you looking for?” Calum asks me.

“Like a ring for on his thumb, to give to him tonight on our date. I know we’re boyfriends but I want him to have something to look at, like as physical proof.” I admit to him, Calum ‘aaaws’ at me so I punch his arm.

“I wanted you to come with because he’s your best friend.” I tell Calum, we both start scanning over the rings.

“That one!” Calum says happily, pointing at a small ring.

“I wanted one for on his thumb.” I told Calum with an eyeroll.

“He’d prefer on for on his pinky! I promise he’ll love it!” Calum says, the woman from the store walks over and Calum point at the pinky ring excitedly. It’s silver with black stone in the middle and little crosses on the sides.

“I think this one would fit.” Calum says, he put the ring on his pinky, I hold both his hands up and entwine my fingers with his.

“Yeah it think this could work.” I tell him with a smile, we let go and look at the woman expectantly.

“Sirs, could I possibly inform you about the price of that ring before you get excited about it” She says, I wave her off.

“I don’t care about the price.” I tell her, I look at her but she looks me over.

“It’s pretty expensive.” She states, she shows me the price and I shrug.

“Wow Michael!” Calum says as she grabs the ring.

“That’s like 2days pay Calum.” I tell him, the lady looks at me surprised.

“So it this for a special person?” She asks me, batting her eyelashes at me.

“Yes it’s for my boyfriend.” I tell her, she frowns and looks away.

“Here you go sir.” She says as she hands me the little box after I paid.

“Cal, can you put this in with those new shoes you bought? I can’t have Luke find it.” I tell him, he nods and pushes it in his shoebox.

“You’re such a great boyfriend for Luke.” Calum tells me.

“Ow shut up.” I tell him.

“No I’m serious, after you met in the store he was so giddy and excited. I think he fell instantly in love with you. Why do you think he’s so self conscious, he thinks you’re too perfect. He’s going to cry when you give him this.” Calum tells me.

“Where are you taking him?” Calum asks me.

“This cute little restaurant down the road from Ashton’s place.” I tell him.

“Well just be careful with him, when he’s emotional he’s emotional.” Calum tells me.

“I know, I’m going to give it to him over desert, so we can head back after that, walking down the beach.” I tell him.

“Awwww so romantic!” Calum coos.

“You know he’d be really happy if you went to this party with us.” Calum says.

“Calum I’m too old to go to those kinds of parties ok. I want to say I’m still young and I could party, I can but not on fridaynight. Not after my work.” I tell him.

“BUT! Give me your number, if anything happens to my Penguin I want you to call me, even if he says he’s ok and he can handle it. He might be a man but he can’t stand up for himself. If anybody says anything mean to him or talks shit about him. Anything, you call me.” I tell him, he nods and puts his number in my phone.

“Took you guys long enough!” Ash exclaims as we meet them at the table. Luke looks up at me with tears in his eyes.

AN/Oohh Michael bought Luke a ring!! But what is wrong with Luke? Sorry it's a pretty short chapter :S PS YES Electric Blue Michael is happening! (all because I love Electric Blue Michael ok!) WHY WAS LUKE CRYING!!?? What is wrong with our little Penguin? :(
