AN/ Mrs. Clifford is revealed, ps don't let the title scare you :D Not a big update again but that's because it was a double update :D Questions at the bottom.
“Mrs. Clifford speaking!” the chirpy voice I’ve come to find very annoying says. Luke widens his eyes and slaps a hand over his mouth.
“Hey mom, I got your messages. Sorry I’ve been busy.” I tell her, smirking at Luke, he frowns and leans back in his chair, hiding his face in his hands.
“Aww my little baby! I haven’t heard form you in forever! How’s work going?” She asks me.
“It’s going great, how’s life treating you?” I ask her.
“Ow it’s amazing, I’ve got a new boyfriend.” She says happily.
“Ew mom, don’t call him that, you’re like 50. What even!” I tell her, slamming my face on my desk and Luke giggles.
“Ow who’s that giggling? You did not call me while you were having hot sex on a desk where you?” My mom asks.
“MOOOOM see this is why I don’t call you.” I tell her, rolling my eyes even if she couldn’t see it.
“Is it that Irene girl? Even if it is, I don’t like her.” My mom states.
“No mom, Irene got fired, this is my new assistant Luke.” I tell her.
“Aw a guy, is he hot?” My mom asks.
“Mom he can hear you.” I tell her, now finishing my food.
“SO? Ow right that’s like against the laws something about sexual harassment and things, tell me another time.” She says happily.
“So Mom, anything important you needed to tell me?” I ask her.
“Yes, I’d like it if my babyboy came home again for a weekend. I miss you honey.” My mom tells me.
“I’ll see about coming round soon.” I tell her, she sighs and I can tell she was nodding slowly.
“See you soon Mickey.” My mom whispered to me, I clenched my fist at her words.
“MOM!” I yell at her, she yelps suddenly.
“Ow Michael, I’m sorry. I-I shouldn’t have said that. I’m so sorry.” She says, then she hangs up. I look over at Luke and he looked worried.
“GO away, I need time.” I tell him, he nods and scurries out of my office, over to his desk. I stood up and started pacing my office, I noticed Mr. H walk up to Luke and asked him angrily what he was doing. Well Luke wasn’t doing anything, Luke told him something and Mr. H looked over at me, I glared at him angrily and then threw the vase that was on my desk to the wall opposite me. I watched as the water ran down the wall, the flowers falling onto the ground. I never liked the vase being here but it always got replaced, possibly because they all knew I’d need something to smash at some point and it was always the vase and not the expensive laptop or anything else. I hadn’t smashed this one for 5 months, 5 months it had been save, it had been 5 months since I called my mom too. Coincidence? Of course not!
“Mr. Clifford? Are you alright?” Luke asked me after 15 minutes, I had laid down on my couch and closed my eyes.
“Yes, you can come back in now.” I tell him, I hear him close my door.
“Open my laptop and go to my emails.” I tell him, I looked over at him and he hesitated.
“GO!” I yell, he jumps and walks to my laptop, opening it.
“Mail your brother Jack saying I need a new vase. He will get me a new one by tomorrow.” I tell Luke, I can hear him type for a minute and then he told me it was done.
“Do you need anything else?” Luke asked me.
“I need to just lay down for a few minutes.” I tell him, feeling my head start to throb.
“Top draw, there’s a remote. Don’t move it just press play.” I tell him, a second later soft music started playing. It wasn’t relaxing music it was All Time Low but played pretty softly.
“I love All Time Low.” Luke giggles, I look over at him and see him twirl in my chair.
“Get out of my chair.” I tell him, he falls out of it because he obviously jumps at my tone.
“Sorry sir.” He mutters, he takes the seat he was sitting in earlier and then turns it to look at me.
“Don’t call me Sir.” I mumble to him.
“Michael?” Luke asks me.
“Yes?” I ask back.
“Is Blond Quiff the reason you didn’t want to kiss me?” He asks me, he frowns as I stare at him in disbelief, not about him knowing because I was there when both Mirry and Ashton mentioned him but about the fact he was confident enough to actually ask me about it.
AN/ OH HOT DAYUM, Luke popped the question!!! (wahahah). What do you think Michael is going to say? Do you think they'll end up figthing? Will Luke want to leave?
