Ivy

"He's always been like this, Ivy. What'd you expect?" Penelope asks. I don't know; what did I expect?

Ever since Aaron and I kissed, he hasn't so much as looked at me in school.

He's back to being his arrogant asshole self, hanging out with his arrogant asshole friends, living his arrogant asshole life.

Well, I don't care. If he doesn't want to talk to me, then we'll go back to how it always was.

There's just one small problem; we still have to work on the final project.

As I get my bag from the locker, Aaron walks up to me.

"Blake."

Oh, we're back to last names now.

"Kristenson," I respond. He's wearing a flannel with dark jeans, his hands in his pockets. His hairs messily covering his forehead, and-

Stop. Checking. Him. Out.

"Five-o-clock's fine?" he asks, not even acknowledging that I'm probably red as a tomato. I nod, and before I can say anything else, he leaves to his friends.

Why's he being so standoffish? I can't help but wonder if I did something wrong or if this was all some sort of sick joke to him.

Whatever the reason, I'm gonna find out.
