'Let me go!' Five-year-old Kai Chisaki struggled to get out of his father's hold.

Bystanders disapproved of Kai's behavior. His leg was injured and his father was kind enough to carry him, he should be grateful!

'You're starting to get on my last nerves Kai,' His father growled. 'You need to stop causing such a scene.' He hissed, his eyes glowed a silvery tone.

Kai's tensed hand trying to push away his father suddenly relaxed, Kai's crying silenced and his body eased. His bright golden eyes turned to a muted silver the same color as his father's. A hand was placed on his shoulder as Terugo (Kai's Father) pulled him closer to his chest.

'Go to sleep Kai, I'll wake you when we get home.' He ordered.

Kai's eyes closed and his breathing slowed. Terugo glared at his sleeping son, 'The things I do for you. Ungrateful brat you're lucky I don't just sell you.'

Kai didn't wake up until Terugo said, no matter what. Under his father's quirk, he can't deny a single order.

'Kai, wake up, we're home.' He said. Kai's eyes opened immediately. He rubbed his eyes as his father opened the door. 'Kai.' He held his hand out. Kai took it and Terugo picked him up again.

He walked inside and sat him down on the couch. Terugo's eyes dimmed and Kai's went back to their golden color.

He realized he was home and started crying again. This meant that he had fallen victim once more to his father's quirk. Terugo set a bowl of salad in front of him and flashed him a fake smile. 'Eat up kiddo! We have some guests coming over.'

Kai shivered, his father's icy stare chilling him. Tears dripped down on his lap and the couch. He picked up the bowl and took a bite, shaking and just trying not to make too much noise.

Kai looked to his father who was putting something on the TV.

Just then there was a knock on the door.

~ Three Days Later, May 28th

'Why isn't he fighting back?!' Hero-in-Training Cipher yelled to her partner, Phantom Arrow.

'I don't know.' He muttered. 'He's in a perfect position. A good one to the jaw is all it would take.'

Kai held onto his father's tie with one hand and his shoulder with the other. He stared blankly at the Heroes in front of him.

He knew their quirks, Cipher's was called 'Mindscape' she can create things with her mind. But the more absurd and less detailed it is the less likely it is to work.

Phantom Arrow can create a bow and arrow with Phantom Energy, but this takes up his stamina and can only make 30 arrows currently.

'He's under his father's control. He can't do anything for himself.' Pro Hero: Nana Shimura told them.

Kai looked down to see Cipher's quirk was well at work. He tugged on Terugo's tie twice and pointed down.

Terugo chuckled and took a few steps back before jumping to the next support beam.

'Chains. Really?'

Cipher growled. A pre-order. He told Kai to warn him of any potential danger before they got there.

They were in a giant warehouse. There were boxes, metal and wooden, lights as tall as humans, ceilings as high as giants. And it was crawling, with Terugo's Minions.

Kai rested his head on his father's chest. No matter what, Kai wouldn't remember a thing. Usually, he was told what happened but that depended on what happened. Something like this would forever remain a mystery to him.

'I've had enough of this Cat and mouse game. Sharpshooter.' He ordered.

A female voice answered from above them, 'Yes Sir.' Before she shot an arrow through a 5 pound back of a special sleeping mist. They'd be out for hours.
