Who is he anyway

'Oh I get it, the thunder sounds like the gunshots from your father's pistol right?' Kai meekly nodded, tears pooling in his eyes. Poltergeist hesitated to get up. He didn't know why, he shouldn't care. He should just leave, right? So why couldn't he? Why wouldn't he listen to his instincts?

For the longest time, he's never questioned his past. He couldn't remember it so it didn't matter to him. Kai changed that. The moment he was allowed to meet him, Kai changed something about him. Now he wanted to know about his past, his amnesia bothered him when Kai was around and he wasn't sure why. Something about the kid made him want to know about his past, it ate him alive not knowing where he's from or... Anything about himself. God who was he?

'One more question that might lead to follow-up questions.' Mirio raised his hand.

'Sure.'

'Who was this Poltergeist guy anyway? You mention him a lot but we don't know anything about him.'

Kai sighed, 'He was my medical caretaker, as well as my tutor and trainer.' He took a sip of the ice water Tamaki gave him. Wiping his hands off from the condensation on the outside of the glass. 'He was also the guy who cut me open and took my blood. He used semi-hardened shadows to keep me quiet.'

'Semi-Hardened?' Tamaki asked.

'I still need to breathe Suneater.'

'Chronos is right Sir, Kai still needs to breathe.'

Mirio asked what he looked like. 'Uh, dark teal hair, he usually kept it in a low ponytail but during winter he kept it higher, his skin was white and translucent. He usually wore all black with gloves and a jacket. One eye was completely black, which I later learned was because when he was alive-alive he was blind in that eye. His other eye was purple with a darker purple sclera. Built, 6'2, always had this white mist around him.'

'You could do descriptions for the police.'

'Thanks.'

'Heh, Alright Saki-San. If you want me to stay until you fall asleep I will. But this is a one-time thing okay?'

'What was he like?' Tamaki asked.

'Well, he always acted like he didn't care, but I think he did. He got defensive whenever someone asked if he cared about me and that's kind of a tell for him. I think he cared. While he referred to himself as a demon with no heart, he did have a thing for Chronos.'

'How many romances were in Satana?'

'I think four? My father had a thing for Poltergeist, Poltergeist had a thing for Chronos, and vice versa though they never said it. Although before he died Poltergeist did kiss him, Chronos tried to rewind him, but he was crying too much and it wouldn't activate. And Hippogriff had a thing for Manticore.'

'Yo Chronos, get the bandages okay? The kid needs 'em.'

'Wait, so instead of helping him with rewind so he could live and they could potentially be together he opted for kissing him instead? Why?' Tamaki asked.

'He like maybe two seconds, he was hit with Phantom Arrow's arrow, and my father's bullet.'

'Why did your father kill him?'

'He was bored of Phantom Arrow and Cipher and wanted to make the fight more interesting. It's the main reason he lost, in the end, was because Poltergeist died.'

'Oh my god.'

'Yeah welcome to my life.'

'Cya next time kid, and don't worry, it'll all work out fine alright?'
