'I missed you.' Hari whispered. He stroked Kai's hair softly, they hadn't seen each other in months. Kai had suddenly stopped coming to school and Hari, Sakaki, and Nemoto had no idea why he was. He kissed Kai's neck. 'Never, never do that to me again.' Hari thought Kai had killed himself, his brain always forced him to assume the worst.

His younger sisters both killed themselves. His mother died of her grief shortly after, and he was taken in by Pops where he found Kai. Kai was trembling, he had been so scared that he wouldn't see Hari again. So he was so grateful that he'd be getting to spend every day with him. 'Hari... Hari, I'll never leave you again... But you can't leave me either. Promise me. Promise me please.' Hari was the first person to show he cared about Kai, he couldn't bear to lose him.

'I promise Kai. I promise.'

'What?' Fatgum froze. What did Terugo mean by he made it?

'My little Puppy's quirk isn't an offshoot of his Mother's. I created it. I upgraded it. I made it better. His quirk started as Repair, just like his mother's. I used All for One's blood to permanently put it on a type of steroid.'

'What could repair do?' Fatgum asked, his eyes darting between Father and Son.

'Repair could do almost everything Overhaul can.' Kai started. 'My family just couldn't use it on human beings or themselves.' He whispered, resting his head on Hari's chest. Listening to his heartbeat. It was a soft, rhythmic beat. Kai felt like crying. He's never admitted his quirk was made by his father to anyone but the Hassaikai before, and here he was. Telling Fatgum everything.

Terugo burst out laughing. 'Why do you sound so sad about it? It isn't that bad is it?' He asked.

'Shut up.' Hari growled. Holding Kai close to him, stroking his head softly. It was a habit whether Kai was having a panic attack or not, it never failed to make Kai feel better so he kept doing it. Hari knew Kai was extremely stressed and maybe even scared. Quite possibly scared actually. Hari wasn't sure what he usually did could help in this situation, but he'd try it. 'Shut up. Stop talking. Leave him alone. Have you or have you not done enough?'

'Aww, is the cockroach trying to play lover again?'

'I'm not playing!' Hari yelled, making Kai flinch. Kurono noticed immediately and began to frantically apologize.

'It's okay Hari.' Kai smiled, holding his hand.

'What kind of manipulation have you succumb to Baby?'

'Never. Call. Him. That.' Hari hissed, almost tempted to cover Kai's ears so he wouldn't have to hear this Bullshit.

Terugo smirked, sticking his tongue out. Toyomitsu was confused and annoyed. How did Kai, someone mature, quick to forgive, intelligent, and a natural-born leader, come from this child?

'Chisaki.' Both Terugo and Kai looked up. 'N-Not you Kai, Terugo. Terugo it's time to go.'

'Aww... Let me do one thing first?'

The guard who spoke first sighed, 'Fine... But in exchange, you have to be agreeable and not fight us understand?'

'Deal!' Terugo squealed. He got up and grabbed Kai's shirt collar.

'Hey!' Hari yelled, trying to push Terugo away.

'Shut it Clockwork.' He hissed, he smirked at Kai. He chuckled, his laugh was higher pitched than his voice. After what felt like an hour of staring at him (Even though it was only five seconds) he kissed him. He. Kissed. Him.

A father kissed his son. It was a disgusting sight and but luckily it was only for around two seconds. Though it would've been longer if Hari hadn't kicked him away.

Terugo fell to the floor laughing while Kai cried. Hari tried comforting him, rubbing his back, whispering in his ear, just holding him. The guards grabbed Terugo while Fatgum yelled curses and insults at Hijimi as they dragged him out.

'I... I am so, so sorry Kai.'
