'Hey! Hey! It's okay. I've got you, It's gonna be okay.' Hari whispered softly into Kai's ear. 'It's going to be alright.'

Kai wasn't hurt, not physically at least. Hari was currently helping him through his mental pain. His trauma. 'Hari... Hari it hurts. I can feel it.' He scratched at his arm. 'Hari I-'

'Sh, it's okay. It'll be over soon. It's okay.' He whispered. Rubbing his back and holding him close. 'It's okay.'

Kai had a nightmare about his father. That the heroes had lost and he was still with him. 'Hari.' He muttered.

'It's okay. I know it hurts, it's gonna be okay.'

'Hari...'

'Yes, Kai?'

'I don't want to fall asleep without you. Please stay with me.'

Hari smiled and kissed him, tears ran down Kai's face as he did. Hari was always so gentle. He never usually kissed him directly, it was always the cheek or neck, but when he did it was always soft and sweet. He pulled away and hugged him. 'Of course Kai, I love you. I'll always love you. I'll follow you anywhere, to hell and back.'

Kai's breath hitched, no one's ever said that to him before. He nuzzled his face into Hair's chest, gripping his shirt tightly. 'I love you too Hari.'

One of the guards tried to grab Overhaul but failed as he ran to Hari. 'Hari!' He screamed, 'Hari. Hari no, please. Hari no. I need you. Hari please.' His voice was cracking.

'We've tried to pick him up but we can't lift him.'

'It's Atlas. It's his quirk. Until it wears off you won't be able to lift him. The best chance we have to save him is to stop the bleeding best we can.' Kai said.

'Are you-'

'Trust him.' Fatgum said. 'Kai obviously cares for Hari a lot, if he thinks that's how we can save him, that's how we can save him.'

The female guard looked Kai in the eyes. 'Alright, if you think it'll work.'

The guards ran off to go try and find bandages to stop the bleeding. Kai was hyperventilating, 'Eri, Pops, Manticore, they're all gone. They were all taken from me. Hari please you're all I have left. Hari, I'm begging you. Hari, you can't die. Hari please no.'

'Overhaul it's going to be okay. We will save him.' Fatgum said, trying to comfort him.

Kai wasn't paying attention, he couldn't breathe. He was pale and nauseous. 'Hari, please.'

The guards come back and run to Kurono's dying body. His arms were heavy as boulders as they lifted them. They bandaged his arms and legs the best they could, but they just couldn't lift his torso. 'We're sorry, okay? We tried, god knows we tried.'

'Please, Hari no, please. Hari. Hari.' Kai panicked. 'Hari. Hari no don't leave me. Please. You can't leave me. Hari, you're all I have left. Hari, I'm begging you. You can't leave me.'

The guards were slightly confused. Why was the man who seemed to have no value in human life so desperate? And what did he mean 'All I have left'?

Kai's hyperventilating was causing him to feel lightheaded. He sighed, he really wanted the guards to take care of this but he supposed not.

'Stand away.' He ordered.

'Why-'

'Do it!'

'Okay.' Fatgum said and motioned for the guards to follow. They all stood in the back of the room, they supposed Overhaul just wanted the room to grieve but they were proven wrong.

Kai placed his hand very gently on Kurono's chest and closed his eyes. He needed the room to focus.

It only took a second but in that second all of Kurono's wounds were healed and the bandages had fallen off, there wasn't even any blood on him.

'Kai...' Fatgum asked, Chisaki looked back, more serious than he had looked since they brought him out of Tartarus. 'How long have you been able to use your quirk?'
