'Chisaki!' Takahashi yelled.

Kai froze, currently he and Nyx were on the roof. Nyx was an exception to Terugo because of her potential and was one of the three females in the group. 'These people... Aren't giving up.'

'Of course, they're not. They're idiots. Ignore him.' Nyx ordered. Kai took a step back, his bare feet hitting the wall that kept people from falling. 'Cerebus!'

'That's...' Kai touched the wall, just barely but there was a large hole in it now. These people wouldn't give up on him. He had to stop running from them. He had to let them try.

'Cerberus!' Nyx yelled again if she was loud enough he'd obey. He always did.

'That's not my name!'

His father's words were slowly starting to drown out. 'Thank you.' He muttered. Smiling.

Deku stared at him, at the tears in his eyes, he only gave one answer for what he was saying. But there had to be more. What had he been hearing? How long had he been hearing it? Who is Kai's father?

Deku suddenly had a lot of questions that he wanted answers to. He wanted to know more about him. He wanted to know why he did what he did. How was he raised? He wanted to know everything suddenly.

'Hey... Overhaul?'

'Hm? What is it?'

'Is there... A reason you did what you did?'

Kai noticeably flinched. He was about to answer but Phantom Arrow beat him to it. 'Come with me, I'll explain. Eri you to.'

'Wait Phantom-'

'Can he see what you see Kai? Or hear what you hear?' Takahashi asked.

'He can hear when I'm talking when he's using telepathy, and only when he's using telepathy. But other than that no.'

'Is he using it now?'

'N-No... He isn't.'

'Then he won't know if I tell them even if he starts again. Come on you four.'

'Four?' Hari asked.

'Fatgum, Lemillion, Deku, and Eri. Come on.' He demanded.

The three followed him upstairs. 'Here.' He said opening the door to Kai's room.

'So... What happened?' Mirio asked.

Phantom Arrow sighed, 'Well... I guess I'll just start from the beginning.'

(One last warning this is kinda just a continuation of the prologue thingy, so enjoy or skip, and for once this'll be in first person from Takahashi's point of view)

'Chisaki!' I yelled. I can't lose him again. If I do Terugo will get away and I may never find him again! 'Grab him Shinjuku. You have to.' This was more than just keeping my promise to *Yusei now. I've seen what's happened to him. I've heard his father's threats and exactly what he's been saying for only the gods know how many years. I can't lose him again.

My eyes widened as Kai jumped from the roof. 'You can't get him now!' Terugo yelled to me.

'Yes, I can.' I refused to give him the satisfaction of a verbal reply. I used my quirk - Phantom Energy - to temporarily repair the severed nerves. I'll only be able to use my arm for an hour and then I'll have to wait five minutes before I can do it again. My arm was killing me trying to use it, 'But I can't lose. I have to protect him.'

Using the training I've learned from Shimura-Sensei, I scale the building next to the one Kai jumped from. I have to catch him. I have to. It wasn't easy because my arm shouldn't be usable and Terugo was still shooting at me with his Pistol. 'Grab him Shinjuku, grab him!' He and I collided. I tightly wrapped my arms around him. 'Don't let go. Don't let go of him again. Keep him in your arms. I'll save you, Kai, I'll save you.

'So... He needed saving too?' Eri muttered.

'Yes, Eri. The only reason he did what he did was to keep you safe. If he hadn't you would've died, just like Pops. He loved you with all his heart. He made himself look like the villain so the heroes would save you. He fought so hard to make it believable. He loves you Eri. He loves you.'

~ Exposition Over

The five came back down and Eri immediately ran into Chisaki's arms. He knew exactly the story Phantom told them. 'I'm sorry! I'm sorry you had to go through that! I'm so sorry!' She cried.

Kai smiled at her, rubbing her back, 'It's okay Eri. It will be okay. I'm okay.'

'K-Kai we...'

'It's okay. I know you were just protecting her. Thank you, thank you for protecting my daughter.'
