'S-Sensei... Can I... Can I take a break?' Kai panted. He was been training with Eri Haiburiddo, or as she's known to the Press, A-Rank Villain: Manticore. She was always nice to him. Sometimes she'd have to get aggressive but she always apologized afterward. Which is something Kai didn't hear often.

She chuckled and ruffled his hair. 'Yeah sure kid, you're done for the day anyways. Nice job.' She smiled. 'No c'mon, let's get the arms of yours bandaged.' A drawback to Overhaul was that overuse can cause his hands and old wounds to start bleeding.

'Sorry kid.'

'Niki?' Hari questioned.

'He's Rock Lock's kid. Damn shame too that guy sucks.' He tried getting up but Kurono stopped him. 'Hari?'

'Chisaki Kai you stubborn ass fool let me take care of this you are sick.' He hissed.

They got into a short, one-minute argument before Hari eventually caved. Kai was still shaking pretty badly so he had to have Hari help him.

'Chisaki-Dachi!' Niki smiled, seeing him come down.

Hari and he sat down on the couch. 'Heya kid, I am a bit sick right now okay but I'll talk.'

'Oh, okay. I'm sorry you're sick. Can I get you anything? Also, who's that?' He pointed to Hari.

Kai smiled at him, 'This is my boyfriend, Hari Kurono.'

'Boyfriend? I thought you were male.'

'Oh, I am. My father tried forcing me to date women because I was biologically male, but I wasn't happy with that. So I started looking at men, I met Hari and we fell in love. I feel much better with him than I do with a woman.'

*'Oh! That reminds me of Mr. Nozia. He used to be a girl but he didn't feel good like that, so he got surgery and takes medicine for it. He feels better now.' Niki explained.

'Well good for him.' Kai said, 'Something similar happened with a friend of ours Sakaki.'

'I remember when his parents told him they had finally saved up enough money to get him top surgery.' Hari remembered.

'He told us the second he saw us at school.'

'Correct. Good boy!' Hari ruffled his lover's hair.

'Does Mr. Sakaki feel better now?'

'Much better.' A woman who Kai assumed was Amira walked in, but... She had a red mark on her face. 'Are you okay?'

'Hm? Oh, Ken... He slapped me. We got into an argument when I said I was taking Niki here. He said that he and I were getting a divorce for taking your side... I'm-'

Hari had gotten up while she was talking and grabbed her arms, he looked worried. 'He slapped you because you defended someone who hasn't done anything wrong in two years and has actively apologized multiple times like a normal person?! And you chose to marry that?!'

'E-Eh... Well yes! I did... But-'

'Why? That's toxic as hell! I say get the divorce, you deserve so much better than that. So. Much. Better.' Hari told her.

'I- You really think so? Ken always says he loves me but...' Hari let go and Amira grabbed her hair. 'He's been so irritable lately... I just... I don't know.'

'I'm with Hari, you can do much better than that asshole. And if it helps you decide, my father — Who in the end was an abusive manipulative fuck — used to tell me he loved me.'

'Really? So you think he's lying?'

'I think he may have loved you at some point, but not anymore. I think my being released from Tartarus made his anger take over for his love. I'm sorry but that may have been what happened.'

Amira teared up, 'I'll... I'll think about it.'
