Hari and Kai sat together, Kai was in between Hari's legs and leaning on his chest, while Hari messed with his hair. They were both super tired after a full day of raising Eri, keeping the Hassaikai under control, making sure Rappa didn't destroy anything. Which is worth mentioning, by the way, because yes he is a member of the Hassaikai but Rappa is still in a league all of his own.

'Hey, Hari.' Kai mumbled.

'Yes?'

'Remember when you said I can tell you anything?'

'Of course.' He said, running Kai's hair through his fingers.

'Father...' He muttered. 'Is talking to me.'

'What?' Hari whispered.

'He's talking to me through telepathy... He's talking to me, Hari.' Kai murmured. Tears welled in his eyes, causing his vision to blur and his eyes to start stinging.

'It's okay.' He said, wrapping his arms around Kai, keeping him close. 'I'm right here. It'll be okay.'

Kai was really hot, and really tired. The soup made his throat feel better, but he felt hotter.

'Thank you two by the way.' Kai looked to Mirio and Deku.

'Sure. You apologized, you've seemed to have changed your ways, and overall you seem like an entirely different person.' Deku said.

'Chisaki-Senpai! Chisaki-Senpai!' Eri called. 'Look! Look! Look!' She turned around, showing him her now braided hair.

'Oh wow, that's so pretty.' Kai said, smiling. 'Who did that?'

'Niki!' She smiled.

'Oh, Niki you did that? It looks very nice you did wonderfully.'

'Thank you!' He smiled.

'Of course.' Kai told him, taking another sip of water.

'Niki,' Amira said to get his attention. 'We... We need to go.'

'Shes...' Kai thought, 'Trembling. Are you scared to go back to Takagi?'

'Well... I'm not aloud back. He said that I was a disgrace...' Amira said.

'That's not okay.' Hari growled. 'Seriously why would you ever marry that thing?'

'Well...' She started, tears dropping to the floor. 'I thought he loved me...'

'Maybe he did then,' Kai set the glass down. 'But not now.'

'Amira, would you like to stay here?' Toyomitsu offered.

Her eyes lit up as she looked at him. 'Really?'

'I don't have any other guest bedrooms, but you can sleep on the couch, or I can get an inflatable mattress maybe?'

Amira smiled, 'I'd... I'd like that. Thank you.'

Fatgum nodded with a smile. 'Anytime Amira.'

Kai offered a hand, she gratefully took it and he sat her down on the cushion next to him. 'It'll be okay Mama.' Niki climbed into her lap and hugged her. 'We'll get away from Rock Lock.'

Amira smiled, 'Of course, we will sweetness.' She rubbed her hand across his back.

Niki smiled, snuggling up with his mom.

'Mr. Chisaki?' Eri asked. 'Is it safe for you to tell me yet?'

Kai shook his head, 'Not yet angel.'

'Okay.' She said quietly. 'Do you promise you'll tell me when it is?'

'I do. I promise Eri.'

She smiled and looked down. 'Can...' She twiddled her thumbs. 'Can I sit with you please?' Kai modded and helped her up. She sat in between them, leaning on Hari's chest. 'Thank you.'

'Of course Eri.' Hari smiled.

Kai once again started hearing voices. His father's voice. Telepathy. His father was talking to him. He snapped his hands over his ears.

'Kai, are you okay?' Hari asked.

'No. No.' Tears pooled in his eyes, 'No not again. No, no, no. No, not again. No.' He muttered.

'Chisaki-Senpai?' Eri asked.

'Kai!'

'No... Hari... Pops... Help me. Help me, please...'
