Cipher was exhausted, she lowered the pistol, dropping to her knees. 'If Terugo's bullets are good for one thing,' She panted. 'They do help Chisaki to sleep.' She had shot him with a bullet containing Lavender Serum. A special serum that put Kai and anyone else right to sleep. Terugo had used it on them before but in a gas form which seems to work quicker.

Kai's eyes closed as he fell over. Now laying across Phantom Arrow's back, the bullet fell from his neck and onto the pavement. The arm Takahashi could still use wrapped around Kai's head.

Endeavor sighed, bringing the once again unconscious Cipher to his chest. 'And just like that, with all the fighters unconscious, restrained, or even dead, the fight to save just a single child is finally over.'

'Angel, are you alright?' Hari asked.

'Oh y'know, my dumbass brain decided it wasn't going to let me rest until I came up with a reasonable location as to where Chronos may be hiding.' The forest? No, too many animals. Maybe the beach? No, he doesn't like sand. By a grocery store? Probably. Good source of food, easy to escape if he's caught, apathetic staff who don't get paid enough if they see him stealing small portions. 'Probably, a grocery store.'

Hari smirked, his Husband could get a bit carried away. But that's just because of certain parts of his trauma with his father. He used to make him count how many people were in a room at a time. A habit he still unfortunately had. Hari's tried to break it, but he's given up on that.

Kai sighed and leaned back on the couch just as Hari remembered something. 'Oh yeah, Happy Birthday Angel.'

'Why must you do this to me?'

'Wait it's your birthday?' Fatgum asked. 'Why didn't you tell us?'

'I'm not the kind of guy to talk about my birthday.' He was born on May 28th, and if you knew that, that means he feels like he's known you long enough to tell you. Or you're family, but that small circle includes only his Grandmother. His father didn't care enough to learn his eye color, let alone his birthday.

Seriously, when trying to convince Pops Kai had taken a turn for the worse, he wore brown contact lenses. Not even close to his real eye color.

'Well, why not?' Amira asked.

'Eh, not sure it's something to brag about. It's just a day saying, 'Hey you didn't die this year! Congrats'.'

'Well, I know your birthday.'

'Sobo, you're my grandmother.'

'And your point?'

'Look I don't want to make a big deal of my birthday okay? I barely knew when my birthday was growing up, so let's just ignore it.'

'Wait you didn't know when your was birthday?' Amira asked.

'Nope, I mean. I guess Hippogriff and Manticore did sneak me out of the Mansion and took me out to dinner once every year around this time, so I probably should have put two and two together... But I didn't.'

'I told you when your birthday was.' Izo said, feeling guilty, 'Didn't I?'

'Yes, yes you did. I guess over time I just, forgot.'

'Wait I'm new here,' Amira interrupted. 'Who's Manticore?'

'She was my General caretaker. I had three, Poltergeist was my Medical caretaker, as well as my Trainer and Tutor. The hippogriff just kept me busy until I was needed. Although it was kind of ironic that Poltergeist was my Medical caretaker since he was also the one who cut me open for my blood every day.'

'Every day, really?'

'Well, when he wasn't busy beating the crap out of Eros and Cupid for flirting with each other again.'

'Why was he so mad about that?'

'They're twins.'
