'Hello!'

Kai looked up from his book, he was reading about different *plagues in history when someone called out to him.

'Hi! Over here!' To his left was a kid with white hair, arrows at the end of each thick strand. 'Hi!' The kid was outside his window. Kai had a room in the underground where he spent most of his time, but he had a room upstairs as well for when Terugo wasn't home. 'Why are you chained up?'

Kai looked at the chains and stood up walking to the window. 'Father says I'm dangerous... So he chains me up when he's gone.' He whispered.

The kid tilted his head, 'You don't look dangerous. I'm Kurono. I have to go because Mama will be mad, but I'll try to talk again soon okay?' He smiled. Kai held his hands closer to his chest.

He mumbled something and Kurono had to ask him what he said. 'Please do...' He repeated. Kurono smiled and nodded.

'I'll try!'

Kai helped Eri get ready for bed while Hari went to brush his teeth. 'Stay still Eri.'

'Sorry.'

'It's okay Kawaii Ko. Don't worry about it.' Kai was always quick to forgive because he was never forgiven for anything back with Satana.

He'd go so far as to say most of the things he was punished for in the Hassaikai he only did because he didn't know it was wrong. Because his father never told him what he did to deserve punishment. So he made it a point to forgive people, and if he had to punish them for anything, tell them what they did.

Eri smiled at him when he said she could turn around again. He had put taken her hair out of the braids Niki did for her so she wouldn't strain her scalp while she slept. 'Thank you.'

Kai nodded and picked her up, setting her down on the bed. They had gotten a Tatami mattress so that the scars on Kai's back wouldn't hurt as much in the morning, it was much easier on them and was just more comfortable in general. They got it in the bedframe so they didn't have to sleep on the floor (Despite the fact they're literally designed to be used on the floor).

Kai blushed slightly remembering how much pestering Hari had to do to get Kai to speak up about the pain in his back. It was embarrassing how much Kai stuttered before panicking and Hari had to ask.

They offered for Eri to have her own bed but she wanted to sleep with Hari and Kai. Like she used to before Terugo decided to butt into their lives like the meanie he is. Eri smiled, remembering just how much she missed this.

Hari came back in after talking with Fat for a while and found Kai and Eri already asleep. Eri was cuddling with Kai while he held her hand. Hari smiled and took his shirt off, it got hot while he wore it. He laid down next to Eri, so she was in between him and Kai. 'G'night you two.'
