'Go it's your move!' Kai flinched and reached for a piece before pulling his hand back. Poltergeist groaned. 'Damnit just go already!'

Kai whimpered and covered his face. 'I'm sorry... Please don't hurt me...'

'Relax kid. Take your time.' Manticore smiled. 'It's okay.'

Kai put his hands in his lap, 'I-I'm sorry.' Tears dripping down on his *gold woven clothes. 'How do you play again?'

After dinner (Which was delicious, as usual) Kai asked everyone for their dirty clothes cause he was gonna take them down to the laundromat.

'Thanks, Kai!' *Taishiro called as Kai started the car. (They share it now)

Kai sighed, looking for 400¥, he finally paid the Cashier and went to the nearest Washing Machine.

As he was loading clothes (He was wearing gloves) someone tapped him on the shoulder. 'Can I- Oh my god why do you even exist?'

'So,' Rock Lock looked at the ring on his finger. 'Heard you got married.'

'Yes I did I got married to the love of my life, I am finally happy, I am safe, and I do not need you to ruin my good life thank you very much.'

'A snarky comment from an annoying villain.' Rock Lock glared.

Kai sighed and closed the door to the Washer and threw in some detergent. 'Rock Lock, have I done anything to you? Please, if I have, do inform me.'

'You-' He paused, 'Uh- Well...'

'Exactly I've done nothing to you. So go.'

'Tch, cursed being.'

Kai's eyes widened. This has happened before, a Flashback. No... Not now damnit... Fuck...

'Kai... Come back to me.' His father said, taking off the sunglasses he wore to keep from accidentally using his quirk. 'How many times do I have to tell you before you realize? You kill people. It's your job, it's your only purpose.'

Kai whimpered and gripped Phantom Arrow's Hero Costume. He was being held in Phantom's arms, he was being kept close to him. 'No... No no. This can't be happening. Stop it! No please no!' Kai's thoughts were swarming.

'What am I always saying? You're worth nothing if you aren't serving me. If you don't come back I'll reveal to your precious savior what you truly are.'

Phantom Arrow narrowed his eyes. 'Don't listen to him, Kai. Don't go back.'

Kai froze, he was going to go back, but Phantom Arrow's voice stopped him.

'Fine, if that's how you want it.' Kai flinched.

'No... No, don't... Don't tell him... He'll leave me...'

'You're a cursed being. *Kai.'

Kai snapped back into reality on the ground. What happened? Did he faint? No, he saw the past. He had another Flashback. They might as well have been diagnosed as *Chronic in his family. Even his original ancestor Taijuu was prone to them.

He slapped a woman's hand away. 'Don't mind me. Just a fainting spell. Is Rock Lock still here?'

'A fainting spell?! But you were out for hours!'

'Hours?! But it only felt like a few minutes at most... I guess my Flashbacks can keep me out longer than others.' Kai looked up with tired eyes. 'I'm fine, but thank you for telling me. Is Rock Lock still here.'

'I switched your laundry from the washer to the dryer.' An old woman said, 'And I called the number in your pocket. I didn't know you knew Fatgum, though I don't really know you at all.' She pulled out a couple of mints and butterscotch. 'Want one? It'll help your blood sugar.'

Kai declined. 'Thank you though. Now, will someone please tell me if Rock Lock is here or not.'

'Yes, over there.' The old woman pointed to the door where he was trying to leave. Kai squinted and grabbed a butterscotch from the old woman.

'Hey, Takagi, like candy?' He asked.

'Huh- Ugh!' Ken held his hand where the candy had hit him. 'B-Bitch!'

'Get lost Moron. Cause I'm gonna tell you this right now, if you don't next time it'll be a rock.'
