Kurono sighed and wrung out the cloth into a bowl he was keeping beside him. 'I told you you'd get sick, Kai.'

'Shut up... Ass.' He grumbled. Hari shook his head and put the cloth on Kai's forehead.

'Relax, Naisuki said you'd be better in a few weeks or so. But you'll be completely out of commission until then. Don't worry, Nemoto is taking care of Eri, Tengai is keeping an extra careful eye on Rappa, and Deidoro swore to not break anything.'

'And who's in charge until I'm healthy?' Kai questioned.

Hari chuckled and kissed his cheek, 'Me idiot.'

Chronos was surprisingly pleasant company, he had quite a few stories to tell - Kai chiming in occasionally to correct errors cause he was there for most of them, which annoyed Chronos to no end - and would listen when other people either had a similar experience or just wanted to tell a story of their own.

'So Kai said Hippogriff went to see you?' Hari mentioned.

'Oh yeah, she and I were pretty close. We were nowhere near dating no I'm Pansexual and she wasn't my type. And besides, she was lesbian and had a thing for Manticore.'

'I'm sorry she what?' Kai asked.

'You didn't know that? Really?' Chronos hummed, 'Guess actually you don't know everything. Anyway, so she and I were pretty good friends. And we worked with each other on a shit ton of st-'

'Language.' Amira took a sip of her tea.

Chronos looked to Kai, who shrugged. 'Just go with it, I'm not allowed to cuss in front of the kids either.'

'Wait, kids? Plural?! How many are there? I mean dealing with you growing... Up... Was... Bad... I'm gonna stop talking now.' Chronos lifted his arms above his head like he usually did when he's made things awkward.

Kai laughed, much to his surprise, 'Relax, the feeling is mutual.'

'You know,' He lowered his arms back down on the table. 'When you're not crying because of me or trying to hide from me, you're actually not that bad.'

'Thank you? I think?'

'Eh- It's a compliment!'

'You were saying?' Fatgum asked, genuinely interested in the rest of the story.

'Oh right! Anyway, Summers and I were set on a crap ton of- Wait can I say crap? Ok good, a crap ton of Stakeouts and tails, so we got to know each other.'

'What's a tail?' Eri asked.

'Well, it comes from the word Tailing, which means to follow someone. So when we tail someone, it means we follow them around to gather intel.'

'So stalking?' Amira asked.

'Correct woman who I do not know the name of.'

'Oh right! We haven't introduced you to everyone. Uh, Chronos, meet Fatgum, Amira, Eri, Hari, and Niki is upstairs. He has a bit of a cough right now so Amira is letting him sleep.' Kai introduced, 'And everyone, meet Chronos, although you already knew that.'

'I've heard of Fatgum before, never met him in person.' Chrono muttered. He then sighed and looked at Kai and Hari, 'Hey, if one or both of you come along...' He paused.

'What's up?' Hari asked.

'Would you let me take Eri out?'
