(I did draw that by the way, first time using a blood brush. Think I went a bit overboard on the blood and eye highlights, what do y'all think?)

'So, are we going to tell him?' Endeavor asked.

'No... He already blames himself. If we tell him that Cipher is in a coma he'll only feel worse.' Shinjuku sighed. He felt so awful. Because of his own father. Kai has had to suffer for so long, and Eri... Poor Eri. 'We'll tell him when she either dies or wakes up, but right now it's just too cruel.'

Enji sighed and nodded. He knew how traumatized children can be. Especially ones like Kai. 'Alright then.'

~

'Tch,' Terugo grumbled, tapping his foot on the ground. 'How adorable. Does he think he can get away with erasing my quirk hm? Little brat. Ungrateful for everything I've done for him. We'll just see where this little stunt gets him.'

After introductions, Izo demanded to see Kai's arms. 'Guess she forgot about the whole Chrono and me thing huh?' He thought as he slid his jacket off. It wasn't his old jacket, it was black, and more like a zip-up hoodie, but it'd do.

Izo's eyes widened. 'No...' There were at least fifty scars on each arm. And there might even be more under the bandage he wore to cover the scar burnt into his skin. 'Can you not repair them?'

'Technically yes, but I'd need someone else's skin. Even my-' He paused, 'Even 'my',' He put 'my' in air quotes. Cause no matter what, Overhaul is not his quirk in his mind. 'Quirk has limits. I have a week to repair the scar before it's permanent. And I am not keen on the idea of walking around wearing someone else's skin.'

'Okay, that's fair.'

Kai nodded and rested his head on Hari's shoulder, holding Eri closer to him. Disgusted by the idea of wearing someone else's skin. He sighed and let Eri touch his arms.

She felt the breaks in his arms, the bumps from his older scars. She stared at the lighter color on his skin from the still healing scars.

Kai knew what his father would say. 'I've always thought people looked cuter with scars. So you, my little pup, you look absolutely adorable~'

Adorable. His father's favorite word. He said it all the time. Terugo always called him adorable. With each new scar, Kai got 'cuter'.

'I'm sorry Papa.' She apologized again.

'It's okay, Eri. My scars are mostly in the past by now.' He smiled, running his hands through her hair. 'It's getting pretty long, should probably get this cut soon.'

'Your hair is getting long too y'know.' She retorted.

Kai smiled, 'I know, Kawaii Ko.'

'So, Chisaki-Senpai-'

'Please Hari, call me Izo.'

'Okay, so Izo is there another reason you came here? Or did you really just want to see Kai?'

'Well, I also wanted to meet you Kurono. Kai always complained that he never wanted to get married because of his father.' She chuckled lightly, 'I never expected him to change his mind, especially after I told him why his father married his mother. Well 'Married'. She never actually agreed to it. Terugo forced her.' Izo explained.

'He forced her to marry him? What the hell kind of marriage is that?' Fatgum asked.

'Not a marriage at all really.' Izo murmured.

'Well, I'm glad I found Kurono.' Kai smiled and held his hand.

Izo smiled, it had been so long since she'd seen him smile, or at all to be honest. 'I'm glad.'
