"Where is he?" a lady loudly entered through the entrance of the hall, with the servants immediately following her in. Belial had asked her to come – although asking her to come was the wrong expression since the queen among the healers didn't let herself be summoned anywhere by (almost) anyone – and now she waited in vain in the entrance hall of his estate for the welcome worthy of her.

She clacked her tongue and saw panicked servants scurrying around. Hopefully, they would find their owner soon, after all, she didn't have forever – although that wasn't true, since she had minimal work.

"I am glad that you are honoring me with your presence, Madame Richelle," she heard a familiar voice from the top of the stairs.

The 5'5'' tall demon with dark skin and black hair, which ended just one inch below her shoulder, clacked the heels of her high shoes loudly, posing her hands on her hips. She didn't move a millimeter, no, she waited for him to come to her. Belial, who knew Richelle's mannerism all too well, went to her and greeted her with a kiss on the back of her right hand, which she stretched out to him.

"Madame Richelle, it's a pleasure for me to welcome you here at my estate." The corners of the female demon's mouth pulled up contentedly.

"Yes, Belial, that's good. Well, you requested for me, now tell me the reason," she said while waving her hands.

Now some wondered, was Richelle a demon of the S rank? Was she in the hierarchy above Belial? No, neither. But she was a damn good healer - the best in her field.

Belial had always liked her particular way. On the other hand, Richelle seemed to have something against men or arrogant people in principle – although this distinction didn't exist for her, since it was the same for her.

"Would you like to accompany me so that I can reveal the secret?" Belial replied with the peace that Richelle had always appreciated in him.

The demon followed him and chatted all the way to the infirmary wing about this and that and damn was she fast! Belial opened the door to the preparation room, where his angel was sitting on a chair immersed in a book. Tsuka, we have our visitor. Pay attention to the things I told you in previously. Aleks looked up and nodded. Then he approached the two of them and greeted Richelle as Belial had done before.

"Madame Richelle, my name is Aleksander Esai and it's an honor to meet you."

The demon seemed pleased with Aleks' gesture and replied, "That's it, yes, my pretty one. You can address me informally."

Belial was surprised that Richelle immediately offered first-name basis; he himself had taken about eighty years. Apparently, she seemed to have (exceptionally) taken a liking to him.

The demon sat down on the chair that Aleks had politely pulled out for her. The young man radiates an incredibly positive aura, and he also seems to be well-mannered. She smiled.

"So, Aleksander, why did your Lord invite me here?" Aleks seemed confused for a moment and looked at Belial.

Belial cleared his throat.

"Madame Richelle, first of all, Aleks is not my servant, but my mate. To the second part of your question, he would like to learn the craft of healing and who would be better suited to this than the best in her field?"

Richelle raised her eyebrows in confusion. Well, the boy smells of Belial and also wears his mark, but ... Aleks seemed to have guessed her thoughts and then lifted his top and exposed his chest. Oh dear... Too bad, I would have liked to have a little fun with him.

"Ho-hum, so the ice-cold Shadow of Astaroth has now found its second half. I congratulate you on this, although I rather feel sorry for the little one. I hope you don't have to suffer too much of his tyrannical, arrogant nature."
