After all all of my tears were wiped away and my mascara was reapplied so I didn't look like I got hit by a bus with red cheeks and glossy eyes, Steve, Isaiah, Eli, Bucky, and I all made our way to our table followed by Charlotte, Emma, Pam, Sarah, Michelle, Maverick, and Sam. The boys came running over only to visit for a second before running off and sitting with their friends which we didn't mind. Bucky, Steve, and Sam got everyone's plates along with drinks and as I give Bucky a kiss while he sits down, Pam sits down to my left.

"How are you feeling?" I ask after seeing her move more freely and quicker like she doesn't have to worry about the pain that might flare up

"Like I am back in my thirties." Pam answers happily and I laugh. "Thank you, really." She says in a more serious tone

"Oh, it was no problem." I wave my hand. "It shouldn't but, let me know if it comes back, please."

"I will call you before it even happens." She chuckles

"Good." I nod. "Mary always waits until after she's sick to tell me." I roll my eyes a little

"Grandmothers do that." She nods in agreement. "You never answered my question from earlier, by the way." She mentions just as I pick up my pizza and take a bite

"Sorry." I mumble and swallow my half chewed bite before washing it down with whatever Bucky got me as a drink which was Sprite as usual. "What question was it?" I ask

"I was just wondering how your health was." She asks again

"My health is good." I nod honestly. "I mean, I'm a little up and down up here but, my physical health is fine." I motion to my head and drop my hand to my lap

"I'm glad you are back to feeling good." She smiles

"When was I not?" I ask in confusion

"In January." She softly speaks. "When you fell off the bridge." She reminds me

"Was everyone watching the news that day?" I whisper my slight annoyance while picking at the edge of the wooden table

"All of the adults were." She nods. "Luckily, Emma wasn't there to see the rest of it but, she was watching you and Bucky pretty well."

"Please, tell me she didn't see any of the killing." I look up at Pam's pressed lips and shaking head and it makes me relax in my seat. "Thank God." I sigh

"I snatched her up before she could see anything since New York has never heard of censoring tv production." She reassures and slides her hand on my back under my hair to rub in circles that I melt into. "I only had her for about three hours before Bucky came and took her from me." She chuckles

"Yeah, Mary told me the three of them came down here." I nod

"Only to reassure the entire dock that you were okay and in your room sleeping for a few hours after you went to the clinic." She says. "Bucky never let go of Emma either. She kept him calm and they even slept on the couch back at Sarah's place." She smiles in memory and I find it contagious when the image reruns in her head where I see Bucky sleeping on his back with Emma on her stomach and using his chest as a pillow with his hand acting as a blanket on her back

"He rarely slept." I sigh. "He never does when I get hurt... sleep."

"Do you?" She switches perspectives and surprisingly, my slow brain understands what she means

"I guess, I can say that I don't." I glance at Bucky who laughs at a joke Steve told. "Or didn't when he was in the hospital for a few days after a mission." I shrug

"When was that?" Her eyebrows furrow now concerned

"A long time ago." I wave my hand. "Like months and months ago."
