"What are you thinking today?" I ask
"I don't care." Bucky replies while looking through my closet and getting dangerously close to my dresses
"Hey!" I scold. "You're getting too close there, Sarge." I look at him while shuffling around our clothes
He sighs and walks back towards me, running his hand across the hung up shirts and pants with some attitude before eventually stopping on a dark red, long sleeved shirt. He picks that up from hanger and throws it over his head then grabs a random pair of blue jeans and slips those on over his classic black boxers that cling to his thighs and sometimes roll up when he flexes hard enough. It's definitely an eye catcher at times and a sex driven, libido inflating thing to see when it isn't on purpose at all. I grab a forrest green, graphic tee with golden writing that stops just above my black sweatpants so I am only showing a thin line of bruised skin that is barely noticeable.
I adjust my shirt and grab matching green Vans off the top shelf which is actually the middle shelf and drop them to the floor. Bucky comes behind me and grabs my waist as I'm bent over and reaches up to the actual top shelf to grab his matching red Vans that I convinced him to get and he drops them next to my feet. While I am bent over, putting my shoes on and making sure I don't crease the heel part, Bucky just slams his foot in and wiggles it around until he is all set. I scoff lightly at the sight and walk to the end of our closet to grab his leather jacket that has his gloves in it and his windbreaker that he gave me the second day we saw each other. I slip his windbreaker on to claim it as mine and hold his out only for him to shake his head at me and his coat.
"I've been in sleeves all day." Bucky says and emphasizes his point by pushing his long sleeves up to his elbows. "I'm hot."
"That you are." I comment nonchalantly and hang his coat back up
"You're so beautiful." He chuckles and comes up behind me to wrap an arm around my waist and bend down so he can pepper kisses all over the side of my face and neck. "My babydoll." He mutters with a smile and during my laughing fit, I pull back and open the closet door to see Sam and Steve sitting on my bed
"You guys ready?" I ask and hold up my hand to summon my keys
"Yep." Steve says while patting his jeans and stands up to adjust his blue shirt and jacket
"Finally." Sam follows in his black jeans and gray shirt with a light brown leather jacket on top
"Yes, finally because I am starving." I smile and turn for my door where I only make it a few steps before Bucky takes my keys out of his hand
"I'm not going to let my girlfriend drive three grown men to dinner with one of them being her boyfriend." Bucky explains when I turn around with a confused expression
"Fine by me, honey. I didn't want to drive anyways." I shrug my shoulders and walk out into the hallway with Bucky talking to Steve and Sam walking with me ahead of the two soldiers
"How's your neck?" Sam asks in a small voice
"It hurts like I have a sore throat but other than that, I'm fine." I downplay how I actually feel because in actuality, it hurts to swallow and talk with my voice cracking in between words
"Good thing you don't have a bruise." He sighs in some relief
"I actually do." I say and pull my coat down so he can see the large ring of purple covering my neck. "Bucky just wants me to place an illusion over it so I don't get any comments."
"Oh." He frowns while looking at the bruises and raises his hand slightly but freezes and lets it drop back to his side. I give him a soft smile and tilt my head to hide the bruises once again. "I'm sorry I couldn't do anything." He whispers and watches his feet as we walk. "I tried, but I couldn't do anything without hurting you as well."
