"Team meeting." Friday said over the speakers, Yelena and I quickly got out of bed and made our way over to the office. Tony was standing by the windows, zoned out and looking at the grass.

"Hey." Natasha walked in behind Yelena and I. "Is he alright?" She asked us, Yelena shrugged and we sat down in seats right next to each other. Pietro walked in and sat down on my other side with Wanda right beside him. Everyone else sat on the other side of the table.

"Are you just going to stand by the window, or are you going to tell us what you called us in here for?" Yelena asked Tony, he turned around quickly and took off his glasses, looking around at everyone at the table.

"I will, tell you what I called you in here for." I could detect the worry and pain in his voice. I saw Clint looking angry as ever out of the corner of my eye.

"Tony, is everything alright?" Carol asked, he didn't answer.

"Mr. Stark, are you ok?" Peter asked, looking worriedly at Tony.

"Nothing is alright right, Carol, and no, I am not ok, Peter." Tony said while forcing a laugh.

"Tony, you're scaring me, what happened?" Bruce asked in a low voice. Thor was just staring at Tony, and didn't seem to think that this was a big deal.

"Well, this isn't easy to say." Tony started, leaning forward onto the table with his hands for support. "But, we've lost one of our members." He whispered.

"What do you mean?" Clint asked. "Someone left, or someone died?" Tony didn't answer and just stared at the table. "Tell us goddammit!" Clint slammed his hand down onto the table, I winced at the loud sound.

"Kate is dead." He whispered, I swear my heart stopped.

"What?" I asked, whispering so no one could hear the crack in my voice.

"Kate is dead." Tony repeated.

"I will fucking kill you if you're lying Stark!" I exclaimed, standing up and throwing my chair to the side. I saw Pietro look down at the table and heard him breathe heavily.

"I'm not lying Ivy. She's dead." Tony said, I looked around and saw everyone looking at me with somber looks on their faces. "I'm so sorry." He whispered.

"Um it's...it can't be true." I said, fighting back tears. I saw everyone looking at me with pity and almost snapped in half. They barely even knew her, they lived with her but did they ever really know her? No, they didn't, the only person Kate was even moderately close to was Clint, besides her boyfriend Pietro. "There's no way it's true."

"It's true Ivy, she's-"

"Don't say it!" I yelled.

"Ivy." Pietro whispered. "It's true, she's dead." He turned to look at me with tears streaming down his face.

"No." I stated simply, refusing to believe it. "No." I repeated. I once again looked at everyone's sympathetic faces. "DONT LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT!" I screamed.

"Sweetheart, calm down." Yelena said, getting up.

"Calm down?" I said while laughing, she sat back down and sighed. "You want me to calm down...after I hear this?" I asked her.

"Ivy." She breathed out, a tear trickling down her face. I didn't think I could feel any worse as I did right now, but seeing that just made me break.

"No." I said, shaking my head, I walked out the door and slammed it behind me. I sprinted across the compound and hid in one of the closets, crying my heart out. She can't be gone, she can't be gone I repeated to myself in my head.

"Ivy!" I heard Yelena's voice calling for me. I held back my tears, not wanting to talk to anyone right now.

"I'll go talk to her." I heard Pietro's sad voice come from right behind the door. "Hey Ivy." He closed the door behind him, his eyes were red and puffy from crying.

"Hi." I choked out. "She's really gone, isn't she?" I asked.

"Yeah, she is. Steve came back, she wasn't there." He said. "God, I just loved her so much. How, how the fuck did this happen?" He swallowed thickly and looked at the ceiling.

"Oh my God." I whispered, starting to sob again. I felt his arms wrap around me but I didn't feel the relaxing sensation I always felt when I was in Yelena's arms.

"Are you ok?" He asked, realizing I had stopped crying and was completely still.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm completely fine." I whispered, it was a complete lie, but it was fine. It was fine because I wasn't going to care about anything ever again. Nothing after this. Never after this.
