"They did what to you?" Yelena said angrily, standing up and almost knocking over the table. I turned to look at her with watery eyes. Thor slammed his glass on the ground and I saw Peter's jaw clench.

"Lena..." I trailed off, seeing the anger in her eyes. Her eyes softened once she heard my voice and walked over to me. She picked me up gently and carried me back to the infirmary.

"I am so so sorry sweetheart. I didn't know what they did." She said quietly, kissing my forehead multiple times and getting into the bed beside me.

"It's not your fault." I told her. "You don't have to be sorry."

"I know; but no one should have to go through that and I'm so sorry that they did that to you." She whispered, letting me cuddle up against her as much as I wanted to.

"Thank you for being here for me." I whispered into her shoulder, a single tear running down my face.

"I'll always be here for you." She whispered back, putting her arm over me and holding me closer to her.

"Ivy." Tony whispered, walking in and closing the door.

"I don't think she want to talk to anyone right now Tony." Yelena said.

"No, no, it's fine. He can stay." I said, Yelena nodded and Tony moved closer and sat in the chair next to the bed. "Tony, are you ok?" I asked him. His lip was trembling and he looked like he had no hope left.

"No, Ivy, I'm not ok." He whispered, looking down at the ground. "I did everything in my power to prevent what happened to you from happening. And it happened anyway." I heard his voice cracking. "I'm so sorry, it's my fault-"

"I assure you it's not, and even if it is, I forgive you." I told him.

"Thank you Ivy." He said softly, still on the verge of tears.

"It's ok Tony." I said.

"No it's not!" He exclaimed while standing up, Yelena held me closer and kissed my forehead. "I don't know what I would've done if I had lost you." He said, clapping his hands together.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked him.

"Everything that happens to you, I feel like that's on me. If you get hurt, that's on me. What happened five days ago, that's on me!" He was extremely upset. "And I can't lose you Ivy...because I don't know what I would do without you."

"That's sweet." I said awkwardly, not knowing what to say to that. He just nodded and walked out, shutting the door quietly behind him, leaving Yelena and I alone. "I kind of want to be alone right now Lena, I'm sorry." I whispered, she nodded and got off the bed, leaving the room and whispering I love you.

I inhaled deeply as I felt my stomach sink. Here it is, the loneliness hits again I thought. My eyes flooded with tears and I choked out a sob, curling up into a ball and crying into the blankets. Every muscle in my body ached. "Hey, Ivy." I heard Peter whispered softly.

"Hi." I choked out a sob and quickly pulled myself together. "Don't touch me." I said sternly as I felt his hand move closer.

"I'm sorry." He whispered, sitting down in the chair.

"It's ok." I turned towards him and we just stared at each other for a few seconds.

"I'm so sorry for what they did to you." Was all he seemed to be able to say. "I promise, we did everything in our power to prevent it from happening but...it happened anyways." I nodded and blinked slowly. "But it's really good to have you back." He smiled, I smiled back.

"Thanks kid."

"And I also wanted to say that I'm really sorry about your sister. I never got to say that to you, but it's really important that I do say it." He whispered. "I know what it's like to lose somebody that close to you, it's heartbreaking and soul crushing, but we all just want you to be happy." I nodded.

"Thank you." I said, my voice breaking as I felt another stabbing pain of realizing that my sister was gone, forever. "Um, I haven't asked this question because I'm too scared for the answer. But, how did she die?" I asked him.

"She died while saving Steve. He told me the story, um. Steve was down on the ground, and the guy on top of him was getting ready to kill him and Kate was out of arrows. But she slammed into him and they rolled around together, but he stabbed her in the neck and she died." He explained quietly, obviously not wanting to tell the story.

"Oh." I whispered, sitting up and imagining it happening. "So she died saving him?" I asked.

"Yeah." He sighed, I smiled sadly.

"Of course she did." I said, letting out a small chuckle. "Who did you lose?" I asked him, he didn't speak. "Peter?"

"Um, I lost my Aunt May." He whispered, I could barely hear him. "She died in my arms." He turned to me with tears in his eyes. "She was basically my mom. And I had to watch her die."

"I'm so sorry." I whispered sympathetically.

"It's ok. I'm going to go to bed."

"Good night."
