⚠️ ANXIETY ATTACK ⚠️

"Are you ok Ivy?" Finn asked me, I was gripping the steering wheel tightly and we had Matthew in the passengers seat.

"Yeah." I sighed out, I knew that Matthew could hear my heartbeat and knew I was lying but I trusted him to not question me in front of the kids. "Ok, we're here." I said, stopping the car and getting out. Finn teleported out of the car to the front door, I laughed softly as Daisy chased them.

"Are you pregnant?" Matthew asked me, I widened my eyes, the question had taken me off guard.

"Uh, yeah, why do you ask?" I asked him.

"I can hear both the heartbeats." He explained calmly, I nodded and we walked up to the door together.

"Tony, Matthew is here!" I said, Tony rushed towards us and shook his hand. "Wow, you're excited."

"Well, I'm a big fan." He admitted, Matthew laughed.

"I'm flattered." Matthew said, following Tony to the meeting room, I watched them as they left then walked over to Yelena.

"Woah, woah, what's wrong?" She asked me, putting her hands on my shoulder to steady me. I felt dizzy and found it harder and harder to breathe every time I took a breath. "Ivy?" She asked in a concerned voice, I grabbed my chest, it felt like an anvil had just been dropped on my chest.

"I-I can't breathe." I choked out, she put her arms around me and whispered into my ear.

"Breathe with me, ok sweetheart? You've got this." She said softly, I nodded and tried to steady my breathing. "You've got this, you're ok." She continued. Eventually, I calmed down and I was able to stand up. "So what's wrong?" She asked me.

"It's just, I'm pregnant, I'm going to have a human in my stomach for nine months." I said, she nodded and placed her hand on my thigh to stop me from tapping my leg. "But what if I can't take care of the baby? Or myself, what if I'm a terrible mom?" I asked her.

"No, no, you're going to be a wonderful mom." She said. "You're basically a mom to Finn and Daisy and they love you." She said, I nodded and looked down at the ground. "You'll be an amazing mom."

"Thank you, and you will too." I told her, she smiled and kissed me on the cheek.

"Are you ok now?" She asked me. "I already have some names picked out." She said while laughing.

"We've known for less than a day." I said, laughing with her.

"I know. But if it's a girl, we name her Katherine after your sister, and if it's a boy, name him Peter after, you know." She said.

"Yeah, that's a good idea." I told her, she smiled and nodded. "I'm just so scared." I breathed out.

"It's going to be ok." She said. "You still have eight months before you give birth." She pointed out. "So you have a lot of time to prepare." I laughed and stood up. "And they're going to be born into sick a loving family." She said.

"Yeah, yeah they will." I agreed, placing my hand on my stomach and thought about how they would grow up with the Avengers, and Finn, and Daisy. "Kate would be so happy." I said, smiling sadly.

"Yeah, she would." Yelena said, agreeing and grabbing my hand. "Ok, let's not think of all the people who won't be able to meet the baby, think about the people they will be able to meet." She said as she realized I was getting sadder by the second.

"Ok." I said softly.

"They'll have Pietro, your best friend. They'll have my sister, who loves children. Tony, who is basically your dad." She pointed out. "Finn and Daisy, who will basically be their siblings."

"Yeah, that's a good way to look at it." I told her, smiling at her widely, she let my hand go and then pulled me in for another short hug.

"I'm sorry, did we miss something?" Tony asked, walking in with Matthew.

"No." I told him.

"Oh, we can figure out what the gender of the baby is." He said. "If you want to find out right now."

"I can already tell." Matthew said, staring at me.

"You can?" I asked him, he nodded and smiled. "Can you tell us then?" I asked him.

"Yeah, but are you sure you want to know?" He asked, making sure I really wanted to know.

"Yes, I'm sure." I told him. He smiled and then opened his mouth to speak.

"It's a boy."
