(I got a request for Hailey getting hurt and Jay and Voight help her and take care of her. Set between season 6 and 7 somewhere, you pick lol.)

"STOP! CHICAGO PD! FREEZE!" Hailey yelled as she ran through the streets after a perp. She was turning a corner and didn't see the crack in the pavement, and next thing she knows, she's slamming into the cement, pain burst from her ankle and knee.

She tried to get up but fell again and let out a frustrated scream as she grabbed her radio. "50-21 Henry, backup needed in pursuit, suspect headed east on 23rd, red hoodie, blue shoes," she managed to get out into her radio.

She was about to call for help when a car stopped by her and Voight jumped out, rushing to her side. "Upton, what happened, are you shot?!" He asked, panicked.

"No," she gasped, feeling more pain in her left leg. "I fell, something's wrong, I can't stand." She was trying so hard not to cry.

"Okay, try and straighten it for me," Voight said, seeing how much pain his detective was in.

Hailey tried but cried out. "No, no, it hurts!" She cried.

"Okay, okay, take a deep breath. What about your ankle, can you move it?" Hailey didn't want to try, another sob erupting from her as she shook her head.

"Don't make me, please," she requested, trying to stop her tears as she wiped her cheeks.

"I won't, but we need to get you to med. I'll drive you," she nodded and Voight helped her get up and lifted her so he could get her into his car.

Hailey was clenching her fists and biting her lip in an effort not to cry in pain. It hurt so bad, it was like her leg was on fire and being hit with hammers that had blades attached to them.

Voight radioed the other three to let them know he was driving Hailey to med and he notified Platt to take over as acting sergeant when they got back. Jay was in court all day, so he couldn't help yet.

"How's the pain?" He asked as he started driving.

"Bad. Really bad," she managed to get out.

"We'll be at med soon, hang in there, Hailey. Squeeze my hand if you need to," he offered, not entirely expecting her to take it.

She grabbed his hand and squeezed it, showing she was in a massive amount of pain. He rubbed the back of her hand with his thumb and looked over, seeing that she was sweating and pale. He called Sharon Goodwin and let him know he was bringing Hailey in and she needed to be seen immediately.

He pulled up to med and helped Hailey out of the car. She held onto his vest tightly and hid her face, she was having a hard time holding her tears back as he carried her inside.

"What happened?" Sharon asked, following Will and April as they approached with a gurney.

"She fell during a chase, her left knee and ankle are hurting really bad, she can't straighten her leg and hasn't tried to move her ankle," he explained as he placed her on the gurney.

"Hailey, scale of 1-10, where are we at?" Sharon asked.

"10," Hailey gasped, tears falling.

"We're going to get you some relief, honey, hang in there," Sharon smiled sympathetically at the young detective.

"Hailey, I'm going to grab your gun and radio," Voight said and waited for a nod before reaching for the items. Once he had them, he followed them to an exam room.

"It hurts so bad," she groaned as April hooked her up to an IV.

"Are you allergic to any medicine?" Will asked.
