(AU request; Hank is Jay and Will's dad, and Hailey and Jay are dating in high school. Hailey comes to Jay about the abuse and Hank and Trudy work on getting her out of the situation. I know this isn't how the system works.)

Hailey Upton sat at the bus stop, curled in on herself, shivering. She wasn't sure where to go, but she needed help. It was hard to breathe, her ribs were on fire, her eye was basically swollen shut, her face was throbbing, she was almost positive she had broken fingers, maybe even her whole left hand, and everything hurt.
She sighed and turned her phone on, it was after midnight and she hoped that Jay's dad wouldn't be pissed if she went there, but she wasn't sure where else to go. She'd tried calling Trudy Platt, but she hadn't answered. So, Hailey got up and went to get a cab to Jay's house.
Hailey and Jay had been dating for about 6 months, but she'd known him and Will for years from school and sports. Their dad was a cop, Hank Voight. He knew Trudy, the second adult Hailey had ever come to trust. She got to the Voight house and walked to the door, knocking hesitantly.
She jumped when Hank opened it, holding a gun. "I'm sorry! Please don't hurt me!" She cried, shielding herself.
"Dammit, Hailey, I'm not going to hurt you, Kid. Come in, I'm sorry I scared you," he led her into the house.
"I'm sorry," she said again, head down.
"Why are you sorry?" He asked, locking the door.
"I woke you," she whispered.
"Hailey, look at me," he sighed, leading her to the kitchen.
Hailey slowly looked up and Hank closed his eyes. "What happened?" He asked.
"He got mad," she sniffed.
"How bad?" He asked, getting Tylenol and water for the kid.
"Everything hurts really bad. It hurts to breathe," she admitted quietly.
"We need to get you to the hospital, kid. You probably have broken ribs, we need to make sure there's no lung damage," he told her and she shook her head.
"No, please! I know what will happen, I'll be taken away!" She cried, very panicked.
"Hey, hey, it's okay. Hailey, I'm not going to let that happen to you. I know the head staff over at Med, and the head of dcfs. I'm not going to let anything happen to you, I promise," Hank felt horrible for the kid infront of him.
He'd first met Hailey when she was in Camille's class in the fourth grade. His wife had had some concerns about the little girl's behavior, so he'd come and talked to her class and noticed that Hailey was displaying signs of abuse. But they couldn't get her to tell them anything, so they'd asked Jay to befriend the small blonde. The two had been inseparable since. Then Hailey met Trudy Platt when she was twelve, and was around them even more after the robbery at her parents diner. She'd also been there for Jay and Will when their mom had died when she and Jay were thirteen. In return, Trudy had been there for Hailey, who'd been hysterical when she found out that the first person to ever pay attention to her and make sure she was okay and had food at lunch every day. Hailey and Jay had started dating 6 months before the current night, and she was at their house constantly. Three months in, Hailey had finally admitted she was abused when she'd been at their house and had started throwing up from a concussion she'd received the day before. The exertion from her puking and the pain had led her to finally break down and tell them what was happening in her house.
"Thank you," Hailey sniffed, grimacing in pain.
"Do you need me to get Jay or call Trudy?"
"Jay, please. I called Trudy, she didn't answer. That's why I came here."
