(I got a lot of requests for this one with Jay warming Hailey up and drying her off, and with Hailey only wanting Jay's help. I normally do research when any of my onr shots involve medical stuff, but google isn't being super helpful on this one and i can't get any clear answers. So I'm just going with it on this one and apologize if I'm completely wrong. This is probably not going to be the only one I write for this once we actually get a preview and once the episode actually happens, so once we get those, keep the requests coming lol! But please don't keep leaving the same request over and over. I have them written down, but if people keep asking for the same one multiple times a day (and I'm almost positive it's the same person), that gets on my nerves. I have the request on my list, I have over 30 requests, and I'm working all week. Please be patient. Thank you!)

"I'm in pursuit, he's running through the warehouse! Jay, come around the back!" Hailey called into her radio as she sprinted into the warehouse next to the river.

"Copy!" Jay said into his.

Hailey ran upstairs after their suspect and stopped, she couldn't see him anymore. So she walked slowly and listened for any noise. Suddenly, she was thrown through the window and next thing she knew, she was in the water, freezing, in pain, and terrified.

She didn't know what to do as she coughed, having inhaled water when she hit it. She was panicking as she coughed and gagged. Only Jay knew, but she wasn't the strongest swimmer. She'd nearly drowned once when she was little and had been very hesitant to swim since then. She didn't like it so she'd lost her strength in the water.

In her panic, she saw a rock and managed to get over to it and grab on. She could hear yelling and hoped they knew what had happened.

"HELP!" She cried out, absolutely terrified. The water was absolutely freezing and moving fast. She could hardly hold onto the rock and she couldn't get to her radio, which she was sure was fried from the water.

Jay had heard the crash and ran upstairs with Kevin. "Better get to the blonde," the man smirked as Kevin cuffed him and Jay ran and saw the hole in the window and Hailey in the water down below.

"50-21 George, I need assistance from Firehouse 51 NOW!!! Water rescue at our location, hurry, my partner was thrown into the water from the second story!" He yelled into the radio as he sprinted down and out of the warehouse.

"What happened?!" Voight asked.

"Hailey was thrown from that window into the river. She hates the water," Jay said ashe ran to the edge and looked over. Hailey was clinging to a rock, coughing and crying.

"Hailey, hey, help is coming. You're okay, just don't let go!" He called down and she nodded.

"Get me out, Jay! Please get me out!" She cried.

"Rescue is here, you're okay," he told her as the crew pulled up.

"What happened?" Boden asked.

"Hailey was thrown from there into the river. She's not a strong swimmer, we need to hurry. The water scares her, she had a bad experience when she was little and she's coughing pretty bad," Jay told him, looking down and Hailey.

"Jay!" she yelled as she slipped and her head went under.

"HAILEY!" He yelled, but she grabbed another rock and wrapped her arms around it, now with a cut on her cheek.

"Get me out!" She coughed as she yelled, now more scared than she already was.

"Severide, get hooked up to be lowered down. We need to hurry, she's not a strong swimmer and being in her gear isn't going to help!" Boden ordered.

Kelly ran and got the supplies needed and hooked himself to the end of the truck. Then he climbed over and squad lowered him into the water.

"Hailey, grab my hand," he said but she wouldn't. She was absolutely terrified and in a ton of pain.
