(I was asked to elaborate on something mentioned in "Undercover Gone Wrong" about Hailey being very skittish after nearly being assaulted in 6.14. I guess slight TW for abuse and assault)

(ALSO!!! Y'all, please know that if you've ever left a request, I put it in my notes section for later. AND please don't comment with just "please update". I do work, and as a nanny for multiple families, my schedule changes weekly and gets insane at times. The only reason I was updating so much back in January was because I was sick and had literally nothing else to do. Please keep in mind that the people who write on here do have lives outside of writing these stories. Thank you!)

"We got him, Hailey. Hailey, let go!" Antonio was trying to pry Hailey's chained hands from around the offender's neck, and she flinched away from him.

Kim saw her movement and rushed over, moving Antonio out of the way slightly. "Hail. You have to let go," she said, feeling how the blonde was shaking.

When she'd come back, the man had been trying to get Hailey's pants down and was touching her all over. That, paired with the beating she'd endured, didn't have the brunette too shocked that Hailey was skittish.

Eventually, she and Antonio got Hailey to release him, and he was pulled away while Antonio tried to get Hailey sitting up. Hailey shook her head, shying away from his touch as she shifted closer to Kim.

"You're safe," Kim put a hand on her back and Hailey shuddered.

"I want out," she choked out.

Everything hurt, she was nauseous, and she was scared. He'd assaulted her, physically and sexually. She could feel his touch on her chest.

Kim felt Hailey shiver and wrapped her in a hug while Antonio cut the chain on her wrists. As soon as she was freed, Hailey moved closer to Kim. Kim was safe.

"It's okay, Hail. Let's get to the ambo," she said, rubbing Hailey's back.

Hailey's eyes widened. "No," she protested. "Kim, please. I don't want to be touched." She had tears in her swollen blue eyes.

"Hail," Kim frowned as Jay came down.

"Paramedics are here. Are y'all okay?" He asked.

"I'll be fine. Jay, she doesn't want to be touched," Kim told him, still hugging Hailey.

"Hails, look at me," Jay crouched down.

Hailey lifted her head up and he gasped. "Hailey, you need medical attention. I'll stay with you, okay?" He tried and she huddled closer to Kim.

"Hail, he's right. You won't be alone. No one will hurt you now," she soothed, and Hailey gave in, only because she was about to throw up.

"M gonna be sick," she mumbled as they helped her up the stairs.

"Okay, hang on," Jay said, trying to get her outside first. They barely made it before Hailey threw up and held tighter to Jay.

"Shh, it's okay," He whispered as she whimpered. Hailey turned to him and stepped into the hug he offered, hiding away from the light, noise, and chaos.

Voight sent the paramedics over and Kim gave them a rundown of what had happened to them. Jay kept his arms around Hailey, hoping to give her a sense of comfort and stability.

"Hail, they need to see your face," Kim said, touching Hailey's shoulder.

Hailey shuddered and held tighter to Jay. She didn't want people she didn't know touching her, especially after being touched the way she had been. She knew she needed medical attention, she was dizzy, everything really hurt, she was still nauseous, and she could feel the blood sticking to her face and neck. But she didn't want to be touched.
