what if sam never took ranboo into the prison?
---
Ranboo woke up a bit groggy, yawning and rubbing their eyes. They sat up and immediately started to read through their memory book - something they got into the routine of doing. Once they finished reading through the book, they pulled themself out thier bed and changed.
As they were changing, they heard their comms beep and they looked it over. They saw Tubbo messaged them saying to meet up at Snowchester and how he has a surprise for them so they better dress semi formally.
They sent a small okay and quickly changed into something else. As soon as they finished, they threw on their shoes and saw Tubbo say for them to hurry.
They sighed and quickly rushed to gather their things, running out of their home with Phil and Techno. They waved a quick hello to the pair and Phil stopped them before they left "Oh mate. When you get back, there's something Techno and I have to give you"
Ranboo nodded, a bit confused as to what the thing was. Maybe it was something to do with Syndicate stuff. They shrugged and went through the nether portal, walking quickly to the main portal in the middle.
As they walked, they questioned what Tubbo's surprise was. They didn't think anything important had happened today.. Right..? I mean.. Was it their marriage anniversary..? They didn't think it'd been a year yet...
Maybe if they bug Tubbo enough times, he'll accidentally spill what it is. They opened their comms as they walked, asking Tubbo what the surprise was. Tubbo only replied back with "It's a surpise".
Ranboo kept on spam asking what it was and Tubbo only spilled that it was for something special. Ranboo began asking random things on what it could be as they warped through the main portal. And yet Tubbo still said no details.
He definitely got better at not leaking stuff.
Ranboo gave up and said they'll be over soon, quickly taking a shortcut the direction of the hole for the spider farm. Their mind continued pondering what the surprise was.
Maybe it was gonna be something dumb that makes them wanna - jokingly - get divorced from Tubbo. Like a deez nuts joke or yet another giant sculpture of amongus. They definitely would start bawling /neg if it was one of that stuff. they chuckled slightly at the idea, pulling out their trident.
They tridented through the water tunnel, quickly speeding through. They zoomed out of the tunnel and saw Tubbo standing on his front porch with a wide smile.
Ranboo tilted their head and went up to him "What's the surpise, Bo?" Tubbo grabbed their hand and said "Shh.. Cover your eyes, boss man. I gotta lead you do it" Ranboo gave Tubbo a look that said 'promise you won't kill me?'
Tubbo merely smiled with a shit eating smile and Ranboo sighed, covering their eyes with their arm.
Tubbo quickly led them away from the house, too short to notice the fact that Ranboo kept on getting beat up by tree branches and rocks and all these other things. Eventually they both came to a stop and Tubbo let go of ranboo's hand.
"You can look now king" Tubbo said, sitting down. Ranboo uncovered their eyes and sighed happily, their tail wagging "You didn't have to do this, Tubbo.." They sat down across from Tubbo and Tubbo slightly smiled
"Hey. it's your birthday. I figured you weren't doing anything so..."
Ranboo blinked "Wait it's my birthday?" Tubbo nodded "Yep. it's November 27th!" Ranboo slightly smiled "Oh.. Thank you for remembering.." Their cheeks flushed purple and they smiled small.
Tubbo slightly chuckled and leaned over, kissing their forehead "No need to thank you boss man" Ranboo giggled and Tubbo said "Dig in. I didn't hold Tommy at gunpoint to help me set this up for it to go to waste"
Ranboo laughed, knowing Tubbo wasn't joking. And the two husbands enjoyed the quiet birthday picnic...
